Good location and the owners seemed nice. Was clean.

No hot water. I told them and they said they'd look at my shower. They did but I there was still no hot or even warm water. Also up 3 sets of stairs and no lift. Check out very early - by 9am.

There is nothing to like about this place.

1) The AC faces the bed, so there was a constant blast of cold air while you are trying to sleep. We had to turn it off and endure the heat instead, and it was very hot. 2) The host would not let us use the kitchen, but isn't that part of the deal with hostels? Instead of cooking & saving money, we were forced to eat out three times a day, which is expensive 3) Everywhere on the three main islands, hostels provide drinking water to guests. Not this one! They charge $4.50 for a 6L bottle, so we were paying $4.50 everyday for water. That's very greedy. 4) Towels are very old and do not look clean. 5) You cannot put toilet papers in the toilet. They go into a trashcan, which is disgusting! Upgrade your plumbing!!!

Authentic mom and pop with tons of character. But clean and simple
