Sagewater Springs - Adult Only

A delightful stay! Very quiet property - small motel - 8 rooms total! The mineral water in the pool and hot tub feels wonderful and no smell! Thank you!

We stayed in one of the mountain view rooms. It was so clean. The pool was warm and clean. The other guests were quiet and kind. The big TV was super nice. We loved it and it was exactly what we needed.

Place is nice and cozy but no one on the premises to talk to personally. The AC was NOT working for a place that charges 200+ a night. Fix that AC in 108 degree weather please. Also, no lights outside to sit by the pool areas. That would be nice. Had to book a room somewhere else and it was my 32yr Wedding Anniversary weekend.

Low on the frills but heavy on the relaxation. It’s a perfect get away for when you need to decompress.

The Sagewater Hotel is an absolutely GORGEOUS getaway, just a few miles from downtown Palm Springs, but so much prettier! From your location up in the hills of Desert Hot Springs sitting atop Miracle Hill, you can see all of Coachella Valley, making for the most insane sunrise and sunset dips in the incredibly healing mineral water pools onsite. The rooms are modern, decorated perfectly, and incredibly comfortable - the bed and pillows gave me the best sleep of my life! This is the perfect getaway if you're looking to relax and indulge in the ULTIMATE SELF CARE EXPERIENCE.

Great value. Extremely relaxing. Beautiful pool. Lovely room with kitchenette (didn't cook, but it was nice to have a full refrigerator to make ice and cold water for hikes in the hot desert). Manager fit me in the same day when my schedule changed. Beautiful pool. 30 minute drive to Joshua Tree park entrance. Got a great masaage on site.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Sagewater Spa. The pool is wonderful, and extremely relaxing with natural minerals. The ambiance in simple and elegant. The rooms are nice, with comfy beds. Great customer service, very responsive, friendly and helpful.

Motel is very clean . Full kitchen was a perk. Rooms are small and cozy. Sparsely furnished in a post century modern way. Very small motel with 8 rooms. Why only 3 stars. Showed up friday night to a luke warm hot tub and frigid pool. Made a text complaint. They acknowledged that there was an issue with the pool pump that was repaired that day. They apologized, but did not provide any reduction incost or extra amenities. Saturday morning warmin up but not hot. Finally hot by saturday afternoon. You come here for the “hot” springs not luke warm. Bathroom needs updating but once again very clean and well kept. No tissues in the room. Coffee maker with no coffee or filters provided. Not very customer focused as no management on site or check in by staff.

Our first visit to Desert Hot Springs and were pleasantly surprised with the quiet laid back atmosphere and the soothing waters. Very intimate with only 8 rooms so often at night, we were by ourselves relaxing in the healing waters of the natural hot spring pools and stargazing. Have been to numerous hot springs before and this is the cleanest, most pure and most fresh natural geothermal fed water we ever experienced. Clean room with nicely supplied kitchenette. Really like the ability to check into the Spa and the room with only an access code. Convenient location between Joshua Tree National Forest, Coachella Preserve and Palm Springs. The only thing lacking was a dresser for clothes. There was a closet to hang clothes but had to live out of a suitcase for smaller items. Ran into the owner Scott who was VERY helpful with restaurant and hiking recommendations. Mentioned to him that all the good reliable recommendations he made should be typed up and left in each room in a laminated card so that guests who were not fortunate enough to run into him could benefit from his local knowledge. Lastly, it was a great value and feel it reasonably priced for the solitude seeker.

The Sagewater is a special place. Even it is currently undergoing renovations, the rooms were still very comfortable with easy access the the spa and pool, both of which are always the right temperature. This is one of the most relaxing places I have stayed and I expect it will just get better with the addition of massage rooms. It’s quiet and intimate and close to Palms Springs, Joshua Tree, and Pioneer Town, making it the perfect relaxation destination.
