Sagewater Springs - Adult Only

My girlfriends and I had a gorgeous and happy time at Sagewater. This is a beautiful and simply adorned property. The mineral pool is sized well, with a hot section that was kept hot 'enough' while the larger section was more temperate. The pool is available 24/7 which is ideal for the night when the stars really pop. We each had our own room which I recommend if you're not coupled up. The rooms are immaculate and furnished with post modern appliances - each room has a small kitchen area which really came in handy. The bed was king sized and quite firm and we all slept well. One area that needs some improvement is better soundproofing in the rooms, but the owner/mgr Scott is well aware. He was on the property at various times and immediately accessible and responsive if we had a question. As much as my friends and I would like to keep this one for ourselves, I do want to highly recommend Sagewater, you will love.

My partner and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday and WOW it was an amazing vacation. The vibes were perfect: calm and serene. We loved that it wasn't crowded and they had a policy of not using phones around the pool, which really allowed us to unplug. The owner Scott is awesome and gave us great recommendations for food in the area - could not have been a better host. We probably spent 12 hours in the pool across a couple days, and our skin felt so soft afterwards! The only feedback I had was adding more hooks for our towels to dry and it would be great to have more towels available in general. We will absolutely be back.

This was my first time staying here and it definitely wont be the last. The Mineral Pool was an absolute magic treat that made my weekend one to remember. It was my first experience in a mineral pool and I think I'm now addicted. I can't wait to go back. I've told all my friends how magical the pool was and I can't wait to take some of them back there. The rooms were incredible with kitchenettes! Desert Hot Springs is my favorite new city and Sagewater is now my favorite place to stay!

Stayed here for a Joshua tree trip. Figured it was the perfect distance between the park and Palm Springs so I could easily do both. The hotel was clean, quiet and I loved the mid century modern style…oh and the mineral pool was amazing. Def coming back.

The property is very carefully maintained to preserve the mid century charm. The rooms are spacious and each one faces the poo/spa. The staff made some great suggestions and we were lucky in that the other guests were very respectful. Quiet and relaxing.

Wonderful property with lots of charm, quaint setting, great views, and amazing heated pool and spa! We stopped for a night on the way to Joshua Tree, and the clean rooms and pool/spa were just what we needed before our trek into Joshua Tree. We spent hours in the pool and spa at night soaking in the views and stars! This property has it all as well, easy contactless checkin/checkout, great decorating touches and even mini kitchen in the room! We can’t wait to come back and we’re bringing friends and staying much longer next time!

We were traveling through without intentions to stay in town, then by chance - ran across Sagewater Spa. So, we saw the pool and immediately went out and bought swim suits/trunks ~ the water looked so inviting. Still living off the fumes of an amazing mini vacation - one night. We’ll be back. And Deb, our hostess was amazing: sweet, helpful and available if needed.

I really wanted to like this place and had high hopes given the high ratings but as another guest mentioned I think the ownership has changed and it is not well managed. Contactless check in went very smooth and the room was very basic but fine. The issues started when we tried to login in to their WiFi that required a password but no where in the room or in the emails sent to me they provided this information. There was no one at the office and nobody answered their phone. I received a call back after over an hour. Meantime, I had to chase down the only personnel in the facility which was a cleaning lady who was cleaning some of the rooms (by the way, she was very nice and helpful). Then the TV was not working. My husband had to play with it for awhile and then figured out it was on a different input mode. The temperature of the hot tub was not hot but just warm. They advertise it as being 104 degrees but it wasn’t. Another lady came in and the first thing she said was, “Oh this is not hot.” Then, the next morning I wanted to enjoy the “warm” tub before checking out. It was around 8 am when an employee approached me and another guest and told us that the water would be shut off for one hour due to the maintenance. Really???? Who shuts off the water at 8 am for one hour when people are getting ready? Anyway, we asked them if we could shower first since we needed to leave and they agreed. Anyway, I think the high reviews were before when there was another management taking care of this place now that it is ran by the same management as the sister property The Spring, this facility and its guests are being neglected. I hope the management will do a better job as this place has the potential. By the way, there were dirty robes and cups around the pool when we arrived there at 3:30 pm and they were still there when we left the next morning. Anyway, display the wifi password somewhere in the room or email it to the guests and make sure the hot tub is hot as this is the main reason why people come here.

If you like natural spring water pool and don’t want to share space with too many ppl this place is perfect. Pop over to the spring next door for great spa services. This place is decorated in mid centrist modern style. Manager Matthew is amazing. He even will make you a body mist from the spring water Truly a great place to visit by yourself or with someone.
