The Karol Hotel, St. Petersburg Clearwater, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

I’ve been to many classic hotels in Florida and most of the time have been disappointed with the property. This place exemplified comfort and class. I would stay here in a heartbeat again.

We love the Karol! More specifically, Vantage rooftop lounge. Our bartender Karmen has a bright personality and makes the best cocktails! We always have an amazing time when visiting and love bringing friends up for a drink or two. Cheers!

The rooftop bar made my stay a 10/10. Carmen Chelsea and Stephen were awesome bartenders and the food and drinks were fantastic. Great view outside and multiple tvs with good background music. Great ambiance Definitely coming back and highly recommend!

A great hotel to stay for our weekend to St. Petersburg. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the bay front area so you need to plan your day accordingly. The hotel is modern and well maintained. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom is spotless and well stocked. Staff is very friendly and helpful. As a Marriott elite member you get access to a bar area which has complimentary snacks and some Prepackaged breakfast items. From what I understand, the hotel caters to large groups during the week and weekends are fairly empty. At dinner at the hotel restaurant on Friday, we were one of two couples present. The rooftop bar is very nice with happy hour drinks and food available. It was fairly crowded. The only negative is you can hear an occasional car racing down the roadway which the hotel is located near. Even on the 7th floor, the cars can be heard.

Resort is great if you have a lavish budget. My son went for a soccer tournament. He is a soccer ref. Stayed in hotel for 2 nights- stay was paid for by soccer tournament however the security deposit for is 522.00. My son will be on a soccer field from 8 am to 9 pm the next 2 days. They said the amount was due to his age. He tried to explain to him that he was there for business and not a pleasure trip. I could understand if he was staying for a week or so but for 2 nights.

Absolutely love love this hotel .. A tribute to hotel that’s a tribute to class .. we’ll anointed room .. awesome rooftop bar and the management is Top Notch .. food is the best and my suite was huge and comfortable., could live here for the rest of my life

This is the place to stay if your ever in Saint Pete. You won't be disappointed. Happy New Year
