Aotearoa Surf Eco Pods

The view from the room and showers were the only thing we enjoyed.

Room was filled with tiny ants everywhere. We didn't have any food in the room, everything was stored in the kitchen. Ants even in the sheets that bit me on my feet and these ants were everywhere on the floor (have videos and pictures). No salt/pepper in the kitchen. Definitely didn't feel like the stay was worth the money paid, no beech on property as mentioned either. The beach bar and pond were pretty inexistent.

View and ease

A teepee or pod nearby talked all night and we could not sleep . A sign up to be considerate of guests after ten and not talk all night would be helpful . Rubbish out side the teepee and on the path . Bottle tops and string and paper bits Around taps cleaning would be good . Also soap dispenser did not work and was empty by basin

The landscaping was nice to explore, and the view was amazing. The sun setting on the outer islands was neat to watch and the mist down below in the morning was beautiful. Great place to view the stars.

It was a great experience, weather wasn’t great but was still a nice location love to go back in better weather.

The location and views are just perfection, relaxed atmosphere, chilled guests, kitchen has everything you need, 5 minutes drive to the beach. A laid-back gem!!
