Tent was damp, lighting poor and suggest some pest control on the possums would be worth doing as they are at it all night. Tents are at end of life

Gorgeous location, comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay.

Improvements would be increased quality of cleaning and extractor fans in bathroom and kitchen to avoid steam etc

Room was not set up as a twin as requested, wifi didn’t work and it was unclear on booking that it was a shared bathroom. Good views but from room, blocked by trees.

Beautiful location with a stunning view. Nice grounds with a little tropical walkway to a pond, decorated with stone buddhas and fire pits. 2 kitchen areas. Peaceful, tranquil. The eco pod was comfortable and nicely decorated, everything looked really new. Same stunning view from the bed. The kitchen is really well stocked with every thing you need, e.g. cutlery, pots etc. and very well maintained. Beautiful outodoor sitting area. Its about a 10 minute drive to Te Arai Beach.

It was really hard to get a hold of anyone who was in charge. When we arrived the place was completely empty. We were the only guests and the host was not available. We rang the number but were told on the answerphone not to leave a message....hmmm, not that helpful. To be fair, it is a very easy self check in and the reason we needed to talk to an actual person was because we wanted to change from the booked glamping tent to an eco pod since the toilets were quite a bit away from the tent. The description "private bathroom" is misleading and not true since there are about 5 toilet/bathroom containers on the top of the property which are NOT next to the accommodation and not private at all. There are 7 pods and tents but only 5 bathrooms. They are very nice, comfortable and beautifully decorated but private they are not. There were also too many messages for my liking that I received after the booking reminding me that there is the option to book surfing lessons.....if I wanted surfing lessons, I would have booked them.

Really cool concept, amazing vegetation, well equipped shared kitchen facilities, clean toilets.

Dirty and rusty BBQ. Hadn’t been cleaned from previous use. Solar Lights in the bbq area did not work. Another fan besides the one attached to the wall would’ve helped with the hot summer’s night as well.
