Neulpum Hotel

Kleines stylisches Hotel gegenüber vom Hanok Village. Sehr komfortabel und absolut empfehlenswert.

It was comfortable

Great hotel, well located and modern. Breakfast very basic but ok. No cereal. No tea bags. Coffee ok but no milk or whitener which should be fixed. The staff friendly and communicated well with Google translate!

The room was comfortable in terms of size and amenities. But the lady at the reception was THE ONLY AND THE MOST UNHELPFUL person we have met on our visit to S. Korea(SK) so far. We had to cancel our original room booking and then rebooked for another date. She made us pay full charges for the cancellation and refused to adjust the cost against our new dates. We had a 6.26 am train to Seoul on our return. We asked this same lady to help us prebook a taxi the evening before as we needed to leave the hotel by 5.45 am. (Uber doesn’t work in Jeonju and we didn’t have a Korean telephone # to use Kakao taxi). She said she couldn’t help us. The next morning (May 29th, a public holiday in SK) we waited in POURING rain for an hour, did not get a taxi, missed our train to Seoul and had to return to the hotel drenched and wait till this lady came in at 7.30 am. She listened to our experience without any expression or sympathy, then booked a taxi for us We had to pay a fee for rebooking our train tickets on a later train as standing passengers (2 hours) to Seoul. The South Korean people have been most helpful, kind and generous on our visit, but there is always an exception and this cold and impersonal lady at Neulpum was the exception.

주말 투숙이라 평일대비 두배의 가격을 지불했지만 급하게 예약한지라 좋은 리뷰를 보고 결정함. 호텔 사장님도 매우 친철하시고 한옥마을과 가까워 위치적으로는 좋은 선택이었음. 다만 조금만 움직여도 삐그덕 소리를 내는 침대 때문에 뒤척일때 마다 나는 소리가 신경에 거슬려 잠을 설쳤습니다.

This hotel is run by a lovely lady, she was kind. It is also across the hanok village which is great. It is a very basic hotel, nothing fancy like the photos. It is clean and big and that was good enough. The restaurant a block over has very delicious baekban. Recommended by the hotel owner.

Great location near to the village of the town. Had a room overlooking the street sound blocking windows and could not hear a car. Breakfast is as simple as possible to even be called a breakfast. Would stay here again if in town. It was clean, quiet and convenient.

조용하고 걸어서 한옥마을까지 갈 수 있는 거리에 있어서 가성비 대비 만족한 호텔이었슴

청소가 미흡 한듯 했어요 냉장고에는 전에 숙박 하셨던 분의 소주병이 있더라구요 연속 숙박이라 방키 맡길려고 해도 안된다고 하시고 전주에 출장으로 왔는데 출장으로 숙박은 그닥 좋진 않아요
