Amazing place to stay. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and accomodating. Lushoto itself is absolutely stunning. The staff found out it was my birthday and threw a party (including birthday cake). It was incredibly kind and made for a birthday I will never forget! I cannot recommend the lodge enough.

"The gardens were amazing but overall an unpleasant stay"

The gardens and exterior are amazing and so big! You could hike in them. The room was nice, good shower, with tea and coffee and a balcony.

The staff didn't know english well. The hotel is far from center. When we asked for a taxi the hotel arranged us one at a higher price that just didn't work (couldn't survive the ascent from the hotel to the center) when all other restaurants helped us with better rides. Breakfast was bad - No variety at all and bad food. The lobby, bar and restaurant have a strange atmosphere and it wasn't really nice seating there. The hotel has a tour guide who made us feel uncomfortable - Practically ambushed us at the bus station and waited for us to reserve his services, he was nice but pressured us in our hotel and that's not a nice feeling. Also the tours were pricey and he gave us bad recommendations.. All in all - The place is really amazing and has great potential, with a better breakfast, a nicer atmosphere in the lobby and restaurant and a guide that won't pressure us it would be very good

Very nice location, nice room with a very comfortable large bed, nice terrace, TV with English channels, good food (with room service), good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff! I totally recommend this accommodation!

Can't remember anything after one week, so can't be too bad... ;) Oh yeah, no fridge in the room.
