Korpak is a relatively straightforward resort that offers most of what you would expect in terms of comfort and service. The all-inclusive concept means that all meals are supplied, but don't expect a wide selection of options. That said every day the selection of Indonesian food is different and of good quality. The location allows for tour boats to pick you up at the hotel so there is no immediate need to stay closer to the snorkeling and diving spots if you can accept the time it takes to get there. Basically all the sights in Raja Ampat are close enough to be able to visit all of them through multiple day trips by speed boat. The staff can help you out with booking all the tours as well and payment can be arranged by hotel staff as well. While there we made use of the laundry service which was very good and reasonably priced!

Some amenities are curiously absent. The lounge chairs don't have mattresses or cushions on them so lying on the bare wood becomes uncomfortable pretty quickly. There are no benches or seats in the garden, so sitting outside to read a book is not really possible. However, there is some seating outside at the bar near the front desk. The staff can be a great help such as when booking tours or the interaction with housekeeping, or they can be very unaware of things that are lacking. A funny example are the pepper and salt shakers, which are often empty. Another less fortunate example was that I requested a twin room but was given a double. When asked about it I was told I could change to the twin room the next day but the next day I was again told that it would be yet again the next day. Eventually I just gave up on the twin room. I guess the most unfortunate aspect was when we requested a checkout a day early. Many hotels would simply shorten the booking and reimburse the difference or charge the new amount at checkout but some hotels don't offer this kind of flexibility, Korpak belongs to the latter group. As Raja Ampat is a relatively difficult area to travel to and from with a high degree of dependency on external factors affecting delays and travel times it would have been helpful if the hotel could accommodate. When it comes to arranging for tours and such there is very little information available other than what the staff tells you. There are no posters or folders that provide an overview of what is available in the area. This might cause people to feel like arranging a tour is very sketchy with unclear pricing and vague expectations. That said, this is more or less how these things are done in Indonesia east of Lombok. In the end the prices are reasonable and the tours are very much worth the time and effort. You just have to put a little faith in the process.

L'hotel est en chute libre.Il y avait tres peu de client, peut etre 3,4 chbres occupées max sur 51 chambres.Il faut faire de gros effort pour la restauration, tout est servi froid et de mauvais goût. J'ai eu droit a un asticot dans les legumes.Le beurre du pdj est rance.Tous les aliments sont a revoir car de tres mauvaise qualité. L'eau des bidons est conservé en plein soleil, meme si il le mette dans une grosse carafe, l'eau est chaude.Aucune boisson fraiche pas de jus de fruits le matin... il y a pourtant des fruits sur l'île...nous sommes allés en acheter sur le marché... que de la pastèque en dessert. Tout est servi froid(riz,viande en sauce,poissons,legumes).Ils preparent tous le matin et emballage sous film pour la journée. Nous étions situés le premier bungalow a côté du restaurant et cuisine alors que les autres pilotis etaient libre????? Du coup,tous les matins réveillés a 5h par la cuisiniere et les coup de machette pour preparer le charbon de bois. Super!!!! Tous le personnel de l'hotel(reception,jardinier,restaurant) sont scotchés en permanence sur leur téléphone a s'abrutir de video forte qui nous derangeait pendant notre "fameux repas".La nourriture est vraiment très limité...nous sommes alles manger quelques fois a l'exterieur et avons tres bien mangés... Tania fait ce quelle peut avec ce quelle a, elle est serviable et souriante.Le personnel n'est pas désagréable mais faut leur retirer leur téléphone, il y a tellement a faire. Les serviettes tachees puent...

Lots of good food friendly staff beautiful location and plenty of privacy. All the food is local Indonesian which is what I look for when I travel. And an all you can eat buffet and the sun decks are nice

It’s not polished clean but it’s not dirty. Only one comfy lounge chair on the decks and difficult to find somewhere to watch the sunset

Super hyggeligt hotel med den mest vidunderlige beliggenhed, roligt of fredeligt. Dog virker det som om hotellet ikke rigtig er vågnet op efter Corona. Kun begrænset betjening i receptionen og kun meget begrænset engelsk kundskaber. Buffetten lidt pudsig og et lille og halvforkølet udvalg. Men smilende og hjælpsomt personale. Værelset meget middelmådigt. Dog med gratis vand, kaffe/te faciliteter og air conditioning.

Food terrible, dry, the same for breakfast/lunch/dinner every single day, only asian. No drinks. Stuff dont speak english. No facilities. Bad rooms condition. Toilets filthy and have not even toilet paper, smelly and dirty. Most of the times there is nobody at the reception. No beach. Nothing around on the island, not evem 1 resto/cafe/bar. All abondoned. No internet and no wofi in the rooms, only in the lobby. Overpriced for the value

The swimming pool is incredable, state of the houses and appts. are good, beds sleep well. Beautiful restaurant.
