Host & Stay - Tulip Cottage

Great little cottage. Nice location close to Bamburgh. Well.equipped and everything we needed.

Lovely stay in a very comfortable and attractive cottage. Great base for exploring the area.

Very quiet and peaceful,

No table and chairs on the decking , would of been nice to be able to sit out in the AM or evening , stayed in poppy cottage before and had the seating and table outside and was great , not this time though :( every thing else was great .

liked that it had a kitchen which included a cooker, microwave and fridge. Parking was near, it was clean and tidy and each room was warm. Bathroom was on the ground level, to the bottom of the stairs.

communication can be improved by sending through the keycode the day before travel without having to complete check-in instructions. although it says the form only takes a few minutes, on this trip i was staying in several location, each with different instructions and this email was missed. I therefore did not receive the keycode and had to phone up in the evening for it. in this busy world of emails for work emails for home, i'd urge you to remove this step. I was one person, so there's not anything to prepare beforehand. If there was, you should incorporate questions at the point of booking. Also, far too many automated emails during and after my stay, all with the same information! Why? unnecessary.

Nice, warm place, big and comfortable bed, luxury bathroom.

The internet is very weak, but the hosts warn about it on a note in the kitchen near the entrance door.

Everything. It's was clean, comfortable, cosy and everything we needed was there. The host even left us a bottle of prosecco to welcome in the new year. The area was great and not too far from bamburg, anwick and seahouses. It was perfect. We will definitely be back.

That the hosts offered damage / insurance cover. Told us that it was refundable than refused to refund and stated it was our option to take it - that was not explained before paying.

A very comfortable cottage for two. Comfy bed, nice warm bathroom and very clean throughout.

Nothing really. kitchen is quite small but adequate. Freezer is in an out building along with a washing machine..but not an issue as long as it's not raining!

Huge bedroom and lounge for 2, well heated, quiet, parking. Welcome milk. Super clean. Kitchen well equipped. Very calming vibe. Amazing location for everything within 30 min drive.

Older people may struggle with bathroom downstairs from bedroom. Curtain needed over back door. Hooks in bedroom for robes? Shower door a bit temperamental. WiFi poor.
