Bay Point Landing

Our favorite RV park on the Oregon Coast! We have stayed here at least once a year since 2020, and keep returning for the quiet experience. My kids (now high schoolers) love the beautiful saltwater pool, and my dog loves the sandy bay at low tide. The breakfast choices are a great addition. Bay Point has gone through a transformation, and is better than it was in the beginning.

Check-in was hurried without adequate explanation about the airstream or facility. Mattress was uncomfortable, couches were worn, tv in main living area not working. We had reserved a golf cart for our stay and were told none were available at arrival. Overall disappointed value for the money. Staff was helpful and friendly during our stay and responded to text messages when needed.

Pluses and Minus Pluses: nice view of the bay from our spot, the Minus: Very noisy, front end office staff not really interested in helping us with question asked, they would just tell us you need to go online to get answers. No green grass, very few garbage cans on property, un-level pad, roads around park have very little gravel on them. Very expensive for just a view of the bay. This is not a good Premier Rv campground...

This RV park has the makings of a true gem. Great semi-private bayfront location, beautifully designed facilities, a wide range of advertised services. Unfortunately, our five-night stay left us mostly underwhelmed. Sites and access roads are unpaved gravel, which isn't the standard in any place that calls itself a resort. Grass around the waterfront sites was brown and filled with prickly burrs. WiFi, we were warned at check-in, was malfunctioning, and it never seemed to get fixed. Cable TV didn't work either; a request for assistance via text (the preferred method of contacting staff) produced no solution, only the suggestion (one hour and 20 minutes later) to restart our TV, which didn't help. The pool was closed on the one day we visited it; the food truck never seemed to be open. The "store" is really just a few shelves of snacks and a lot of branded swag. On the other hand, the group pavilion, adult lounge and game rooms would be nice places for group gatherings. But unless these are your priorities, the price you pay at Bay Point (two or three times more than what other nice parks charge) might not be worth what you get in return.

Great family RV park! Very clean facility and lots of stuff to do with the kids. Spacious RV spots too, not too close to your neighbor.

Beautiful and clean facilities. Staff was super friendly. Spaces are spread out and quiet at all hours. Beach access is perfect for families.

We recently held our wedding and reception at Baypoint Landing and we are tremendously impressed. The staff worked extremely hard to make this easy and convenient. Their answer to every request was yes, then they figured out how to make it work. We created a very small ceremony space on the northern lawn. It was a gorgeous setting, clean, quiet and private. We rented all the tiny houses along that section. We held the reception in the Cove lounge. Beautiful venue, especially in the evening for sunset dinner. A special thank you to Will and his team - Charlotte, Nancy, Herschel, Kori and the rest. They are clearly motivated to make this a great experience for everyone. We began working with Baypoint Landing a year ago. I think the 4.3 rating is reflective of the previous management team. Candidly, we had some concerns then. Many requests couldn't be met, some cabins and facilities showed wear and maintenance issues. When we first met with Will, it was a complete turnaround. Every answer was either yes, or we will see how to make that work. Facilities were clean, dusted and very well maintained. They are in the process of upgrading everything. The overall appearance and vibe is a stark difference from before. A happy crew makes for happy guests and a pleasant stay. Great experience.

We were both just not very impressed. While the views from this park are amazing and the website builds it up to be a lux camping experience, for us, it was just average. On a foggy morning we could not take advantage of the lounge because it was "closed for a private event". Breakfast and coffee from the food truck outside in the cold. This happened again the next day! Bathrooms and laundry were very clean and most of the staff were friendly. The pool was very nice, but it could have been warmer. The WiFi is not dependable and the lack of service was blamed by the front desk clerk on "to many people on it." Seriously! The park was not half full and if you are providing WiFi it should be a good enough provider to service the whole park. Spaces are better spaced than some parks, but still very close to your neighbor. We had a premium site right on the water and could hear our neighbors well into the night. On the plus side the views! Lots of nice neighbors and great bird watching.

The pictures on the website are beautiful and the Coos Bay Area is worth seeing. But… this place needs updating particularly at the rates they charge. And it’s only five years old. Public furniture and furnishings are tired.
