Bay Point Landing

Beautiful property. Wonderful staff.

Very clean and spacious sites. Very accommodating to our plans that changed. Nice areas to enjoy the view Will definitely go back.

A large, wide open RV park. Has some nice amenities, including a pool, sheltered indoor space, and a small store. While the space is wide open, the space between each site is large, so the privacy was decent. I would prefer some more privacy, including landscaping with tall grasses or other native plants. Perhaps some soil/sand burms? Lastly the winds were furious. I know the park can’t control the weather and winds, but just be prepared for some exciting experiences.

From the moment we entered the property, Will and his team made sure our experience was amazing! Our cabin had an unobstructed view of the Bay, was clean, well stocked and extremely clean!

Incredible views, RV space is excellent, staff is top notch! Park is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We cannot wait to return! We had great neighbors and fellow RVers. We cannot wait to see some of these folks again. Tsunami advisory was in effect, manager came to each RV assuring everyone we were in good hands and provided a handout. We felt safe and well cared in every way.

Awesome experience at this RV campsite! Staff was amazing, we walked right down to the beach and dug clams, met new friends, breakfast and free coffee every morning was very nice. One of the best RV trips we've had!!

The staff at Baypoint are extremely friendly and attentive. Any complaints are taken care of asap and the facility amenities are always clean and inviting. Other than the high price tag per night we have no complaints! Wished they gave discounts for cabins with longer stays.

So, the cabin, location, and overall facilities were very nice. Nevertheless, I was extremely disappointed to find that the new owners are specifically discouraging boat owners from staying at Bay Point. We stayed overnight in May 2025 and were allowed to keep our boat in the extra parking space at our cabin. We also had the option of paying $10/night for overnight boat parking near the office. On this trip (July 2025) we were notified that the new owners are discouraging boaters. They advised us that we would need to rent an additional RV space for $50 per night (we were staying three nights, hence a $150 increase). Fortunately, staff acknowledged that we had not been notified of the change and allowed us to rent the RV space for $10 per night to store our boat. We would be expected to pay the $50/night for our boat for future stays. Sadly, this is a deal-breaker for us. We come up to Coos Bay from Grants Pass specifically to crab and fish. We were told that the Charleston Marina has overnight secure storage for boats/trailers. We checked into this and the information was not accurate. No overnight boat storage and Charleston Marina is NOT secure. We will be getting an AirBnB or VRBO that allows boat parking for future stays. Really sad since Bay Point is a great location.

NOT fisherman friendly we have stayed here since the first opening they keep changing their policies regarding having a boat in a site that would fit now they would like you to rent a separate site at roughly $50 or find some other location to store your boat Yes, it’s a beautiful place. It’s just too bad that the management can’t designated a few spots for fisherman with their boats they already charge you extra for boats or vehicles beyond what your towing
