Sobek Stone House Cappadocia

Excelent hotel. The dotation of the rooms must be inproved.

Sobek Stone Hotel is a little bit away from the Goreme city center, but the centrum is easily accessible by a short walk or a minimum fare taxi ride. Being on the outskirt of the town center makes this hotel a great place to stay, though, for anyone seeking a quiet, comfortable, and clean hotel. All around the hotel is a vegetable garden, and we are confident that they serve their food using those vegetables from their garden. They were fresh everyday. Also, it has the most fantastic view of those iconic balloons. A great hotel!

Clean and modern setup with classic feel. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful in providing directions and tips and in booking tours. Highly recommend this place.

The views of baloons were amazing. Im not sure if there is a better hotel for that. The breakfast was good. The rooms were noce and clean. The service was very good. One bad thing was the pool was really filthy. It felt like the filtering didnt work.

Because it's away from the center of Goreme, it's more spacious. The rooms can be bigger and the grounds, particularly the area around the pool, is pleasant and inviting to guests with a somewhat intimate feel to it. On the other hand, it may be inconvenient to someone without a vehicle. The most disappointing part is the restaurant. The breakfast is mediocre and the dinner is poor -- so it's not surprising that it's usually empty. If the restaurant were even half full, the hotel would be completely full most of the year. Get a real chef!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The interiors are lovely, pool great and it was very clean. I think it was a family run restaurant and the people and service was great. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We also ate other food that was very good. Nice views of balloons going over in the morning if you get up early enough!! Walk to town was 10 mins, not a beautiful walk but very easy.

Beautiful hotel everything about our stay was top notch. Friendly staff, great food, ideal location (close to center of town). If we return to Cappadocia we will stay here again!

Great room and location. Very lovely helpful staff, always on hand when you need them. Definitely recommend the place as everything is nearby. Ibrahim who was working there also provided us with great service. No complaints from me and my husband. Would stay there again.

Beautiful hotel and great central location. Epi balloon view. Staff are wonderful. Can’t wait to visit again. It was truely magical. No stray cats which was a plus!!!!
