Pleasantly surprised the Beauty of the room and amenities.

Brought my wife here for her birthday and were both surprised by the hospitality. The architecture is genius, somehow offering privacy without isolation. This hotel emanates "Autograph." The adjoining restaurant, where we ate at least 4 times, only had tasty offerings. The Hotel Cerro is so nice that we hesitate to write a review because now more people will know.

This is a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay with very nice amenities, rooms, and dining. I am fortunate to have discovered it while driving between the bay area and Los Angeles. Some of - Huge showers and baths - Very clean - Nice views - Good snacks - Comfortable beds - Nice, stylish furniture - Lots of natural light - Spa services

Took us days to align on what hotel in SLO we would base camp it from, and Hotel Cerro was the pick! Very dog friendly (LOVE) and really wonderful staff, the hotel took great care of us during outlet 3 night stay. We had a very nice room, clean and loved the balcony/seating. The filtered water/ice area was great. Sleep quality was excellent, beds and linen top notch! The entire property is really lovely and well kept, super central and walkable to everything. We had a 30 dollar F&B credit daily and found the food in their restaurant to be great. Only negatives were we had someone above us running and jumping at night and in the AM too early, non stop. Kids maybe? If in SLO area again, will stay here AND bring my pups along!

Pros- staff were pleasant and helpful. Great location to walk to food and shopping options. Cons- poor sound insulation between floors. We could hear every step the people above us made. Lots of outside noise from the alley (all night) off our balcony (through the night). Odd room configuration- the bathroom sink, shower were all incorporated into the room space making for little privacy pre/post shower. And the toilet is directly inside the room door.

Love how clean and neat the hotel is. My door and window to the patio weren’t working—I was not able to open it, other than that, love the layout and decors. Was not fond of the light above my head, the opening between the sinks.—I couldn’t figure out where all the light switches were at to turn off some of the lights. Lol Over all, very nice and would definitely go back.
