Hillview Motel

Fantastic customer service and a lovely clean well appointed family room. The children liked the space to run around outside and that there was a pool. We used the BBQ provided to cook our dinner the night we stayed. Even though its on the main road we didn't hear any traffic noise. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

Hillview Motel is the ONLY place to stay in Charters Towers. The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the management / service is faultless. All this for a very reasonable price.

One of the best places I have stayed at in the past year. I do alot of traveling nationally. For the price it is excellent. Only thing is the bathroom could do with a decent shelf in shower and a proper wash basin and vanity...

Located close to town, we enjoy staying there because of the spacious rooms. The friendly host was happy to help out with a small problem we had. Looking forward to staying there again next time.

Good size room with a kitchenette but the room was so basic everything dated. Bed side tables were cut off tree logs not bedside tables, the shower had no door or curtain so the bathroom and toilet floors were very wet and dangerous after showering. No shelves or anything in the bathroom by the basin to put a toiletry bag or anything on. Ceiling in the bathroom/toilet had a big crack in the ceiling. No where to put clothes like draws just a few hangers off a bit of rod under the TV. Power cords just hanging down around the room.

Functional room that was clean and reasonable beds. Does the job. Shower head needs replacing. We appreciated the use of the laundry facilities.

Room is large, owners amazingly helpful. Kitchenette fully equipped. Laundry free available for tenants. Very good value.
