Interpass VAU Hotel & Apartaments

Foi apenas uma noite, mas correu tudo bem. O Staff foi muito simpático.

We spent five amazing days at the Interpass Vau Hotel. We couldn’t believe the standard of accommodation and facilities for the price we paid. The Junior Suite with balcony overlooking the sea was perfect for this length of stay. The breakfast offered lots of choice and the staff were always courteous and helpful. The location, only ten minutes’ walk from Vau beach and about hall an hour from Praia da Rocha, was just right. The one negative was that the bed was a bit too firm for me but the housekeeping staff did their best to address this and I ended up putting pillows on top of the mattress, which made it comfy enough. All in all, we had a great stay at this hotel and hope to return in the future.

Os funcionários foram muito prestáveis, as opções para o pequeno-almoço são bem satisfatórias o único ponto menos positivo foi o facto de haver problemas com a água quentes e alguns banhos foram de água fria.

The Hotel was very well located in Portimão, Nice views of the sea coast, good service, excelente breakfast, i really recomend them.

We decided to eat at the restaurant only to find out that there was only a buffet at 20€ each, no choices (potatoes and rice) nothing was fresh (you could see the eggs turning grey) … I could have eaten better at a fast food. The hotel is not even close to a 3 star : walls insulation non existent (I heard a couple fighting and babies crying) pillows were so old that the feathers turned into crusty bit inside. The hotel has been built in the 80s and hasn’t been refurbished since then. The indoor pool needs ppl to wear a cap charged at 4€ each. The breakfast is a buffet too but you can’t ask for fried eggs on a scramble day eggs and vice versa - never seen this!

Séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel, chambre spacieuse, bien équipée, bien situé, accès rapide à l'océan et la ville. L'option demi pension a répondu à nos attentes, du choix et c'était bon.

Just a thankyou to the wonderful friendliest staff who looked after us very well during our recent stay at the Interpass Vau Hotel last weekend. We really enjoyed our stay there, the location, the suite, cleanliness, facilities and friendliness of all of the staff made it special, not forgetting the very good breakfast included, and the staff there in the breakfast room with their smiles and welcomes. I would highly recommend this hotel to all. Looking forward to revisiting you in the future.

We visited Portugal for our first time in the middle of October. The weather was a balmy 25° pretty much all week ☀️ we were incredibly pleased with our apartment which was very spacious, had a lovely big balcony and was cleaned every day by very smiley housekeepers. The hotel reception staff were warm and friendly and answered any questions we had helpfully and with a pleasing friendliness. The bar staff were very nice too and whipped up a mean pina colada to sip by the outside pool. The facilities (outdoor, indoor pool, sauna, toilets etc) were all immaculate and we very much enjoyed lounging around the outside pool most afternoons. The prices In the bar were very fair, €4 a beer, €6 cocktails and €5/6 for a cheese toastie with fries (which was plenty!!) The local shop was a 5min walk away which had a little of everything and the beach was an easy 10min away. We went into Praia do Rocha most nights and it was around a 20min walk and was around €5 in an Uber back to the hotel late at night. Lagos is around €25 in a taxi/Uber and well worth a day out. Alvor is roughly €2 on the bus which stops just outside. A couple of things were missing from the hotel room such as a mirror in the bedroom, a chopping board in the kitchen but didn’t in anyway affect our holiday. Would liked to have had a double bed but we just pushed the 2 twin beds together (twin beds seem to be pretty standard for the Algarve from what I’ve seen) Would highly highly recommend this apartment/hotel for anyone after a quite, relaxing área to visit. Would definitely visit again around the same time of the year as it was absolute bliss being one of only around 4/5 people around the pool each day. Couldn’t recommend highly enough as all the staff were brilliant and the accommodation perfect.

The stay was fine. It was walking distance from the beach area. The staff were very helpful. I was a little disappointed in the room, in that it had worn out couch and chair, the kitchen refrigerator smelled like fish and was broken, the shower was out of date. The breakfast was very good and the pool was very enjoyable. All in all, with furnishing updates I would stay there again.
