East Surf Cabana

Mooie ruime kamer. Zeer gezellige en gastvrije host. De BBQ safari is zeker een aanrader! Heerlijk ontbijt en niet ver lopen naar het strand en het straatje met alle winkeltjes.

Er liepen nogal wat mieren en andere beestjes in de kamer, ramen/luiken zijn niet helemaal dicht. Maar verder echt top!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt geliebt! Wunderschönes geräumiges und stilvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer, tolle Außendusche in unserer Cabana! Es gab wohlduftende Seife im Bad. Es gab eine Hängematte vor der Zimmertüre! Bestes Frühstück! Energiegeladene Gastgeberin, die sich sehr um ihre Gäste kümmert (man merkt es macht ihr Spaß). Wir haben das Jungledinner mit ihrem Mann in Anspruch genommen, was wirklich ein einmaliges Erlebnis war. Wir waren zuerst etwas skeptisch ob es wirklich so wie versprochen wird, aber unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar übertroffen! Unbedingt machen! Der Strand (Main Spot) ist in gut 10 Min zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir empfehlen generell ein Moped auszuleihen um schneller zu den Restaurants etc. zu kommen.

Amazing cabanas, close to the main streat and beach, but just outside so it is nice and quite. Big rooms and bathroom, love the hammock, the breakfast and staff are amazing! Definitely coming back

Kind, helpful and familiar service. Breakfasts were so good, the best roti&sambal we had! The location was also perfect for us- a little bit aside, but still close to the town, restaurants and shops and to the beach( around 7-10 minutes down the path between local houses and small surf resorts. We really loved it.

We had an incredible two weeks at East Surf Cabanas. The rooms were airy and clean, the property was perfectly located, and our hosts created such a lovely atmosphere. Raffaella and Sudu run the place and it was a joy to spend some time with them each day. Highly recommend Sudu’s jungle BBQ experience. The best part of our day however was breakfast, made by a wonderful group of women who made the best coconut roti, string hoppers and sambal we had in Sri Lanka!

This property was a true beach meets jungle experience! The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The property grounds are very pretty and calm. I had breakfast each day which was delicious. I also did a massage on-site which was awesome! The breakfast was good each day. It was a very short walk into the main town area, I liked being away from all the noise. The host was very friendly and funny, and she helped to arrange transportation for me.

Very friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Good AC in bedroom.

No shutter/net on bathroom window which allowed insects in. Location was too far from town and beach for us but accessible via tuk tuk.

East Surf Cabana was one of our favourite places to stay in Sri Lanka. It has a real family feel with a touch of luxury. From hand towels to housekeeping, the little details were really thought about. We would love to return one day.
