We had a mixed experience at Alliance Palace Batumi. First the positives - the hotel's location (with the Batumi Boulevard just across the street) is undoubtedly its key positive. The room (we were in the one bedroom suite - referred to as the panoramic suite on Hotels.com) was on expected lines - not extremely spacious but not too congested either - just adequate for our group of 3. The balcony did offer a clear view of the Black Sea. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a bad odour. Upon bringing it to the notice of the housekeeping team, they came and sprayed a room freshener, which obviously didn't help for long. Eventually, we just let it pass. The breakfast spread was decent although the vegetarian options (within the cooked dishes) were limited - although that was also on expected lines. The biggest irritant in our case was that our room keys didn't work the first time round; we had to come back to get the keys recharged. Even after that, one key worked and the second one did not. The next day was stranger - one of the cards worked well in the elevator, but failed at the room door. The apart-hotel spread over more than 30 floors has 5 elevators, which means that going up or down can get frustrating almost always. I had read several past reviews on TA recommending that you book rooms on the hotel website rather than aggregator websites. I now agree with that piece of advice. The thing is that we made our booking on Hotels.com, which had described our room as Panoramic Suite, while as per the hotel, they don't have such a category of rooms in the property. They said we're booked in a 1-bedroom suite. They said they have a panorama suite (a different category) - one family from our group of 3 families was upgraded to that category by the front desk staff. The property has several different categories of rooms - the mismatch in terminology used by them and the aggregator websites can cause avoidable confusion and heartache. If possible, do book directly. The check-in was painfully slow. Overall, we had a decent experience.

I stayed here in June 2025 with my family. This Hotel/Service Apartment is located in the same building as Courtyard by Marriott. Courtyard has entry from the front side and it occupies first five floors, whereas Alliance Palace has entrance from the rear side and it occupies 6th to 38th Floor. Same Location, Same Building, Same Rooms, Better View at almost half the cost!! To start with, the checkin process was very smooth and we were ably assisted Front Office Supervisor Giorgi who was very professional and polite. Checkin time is 4pm. We booked a twin room, one bedroom with a double bed and one room with a sofa cum bed (can sleep two). This room has a small kitchenette consisting of a Microwave, Electric Kettle, Induction Cooker, Chimney, Wash Basin and a huge refrigerator. Both the room have a 50 inch TV. The bathroom is spacious and has a separate shower area with Body wash and Shampoo dispensers. No other toiletries are provided. The commode is fitted with a water faucet. It also has a fully automatic front load washing machine cum dryer. The balcony has connecting doors from both rooms and a wonderful view of the black sea on one side and the beautiful Batumi Skyline on the other side. It also has a stand to dry your clothes. The breakfast has a good spread and is served from 8-11am. There is a connecting door to Courtyard from near the lift. Alliance guests can use the Marriott facilities like Swimming Pool, Steam, Sauna, Gym, etc by paying a fees of 80 Lari. Just outside Courtyard is Otium Casino which is open 24 Hrs. Just across the road is the beach and promenade which leads to the end of the runway on one side (approx 3.5 Kms) and all major attractions like the Batumi Boulevard, Ali Nino Statue, Alphabet Tower in the other side (approx 3-4 Kms). On both sides of the promenade are various eateries, bars, etc. Cabs by Bolt are readily available 24x7 at a charge of 8-10 Lari to take you to the city center (Europe Square). All in all, it was a great experience staying at the Alliance Palace Batumi and is worth the money

Not a hotel! The property is called Alliance Palace Hotel, however it does not have the amenities of a hotel. Cleaning only happens once every three days and if they can not clean, due to the customer being asleep or in the shower etc. they will not return until 3 days later. This means that people leave their trash in the hallways, leaving an awful smell. Hand soap is not provided and if you want toilet roll, you need to go to the front desk and request it. The staff are not particularly friendly and often ignore people waiting at the reception. Construction work is happening around the hotel, which means sitting on the balcony is not a possibility, due to the constant noise. On a few different 3rd party apps and on Google there is a picture of a pool, however this belongs to the neighbouring property and to use it costs 80 Lari per day. I don't recommend this property.

Very nice hotel apartment. Very central and convenient location. We were quickly checked in thanks to Mariam at the desk and Luka with our bags.

This is an appartment property. Adjoining the Merriot hotel. No soaps etc. But has a kitchenette with dishes and stuff. The front staff were great, specially Mariam.

I had a very pleasant time staying at the Alliance Palace residence. The secret is to book directly from the official website and not use other proprietors as landlords. A special thank to the Front Desk team (Giorgi supervisor, Amine, Luca bellboy) for making it so special.

The hotel Alliance Palace is very conveniently located facing Sea. Studio Sea view room was given which was well equipped with basic kitchen net (with essential crockery) and washing machine though not required by us for our short stay. The staff was quite friendly and ready to rush for Guests requirements. The Breakfast served was excellent with lot of options. Hotel has common Restaurant shared by Hotel Courtyard by Marriott serving Breakfast for both Hotel Guest. It is highly advisable to stay in this hotel at a reasonable price and best location near sea beach and market. We two couples were more than satisfied with hotel’s hospitality. Keep it up.
