"Good spot for visiting Carlsbad Caverns National Park"

My wife and I stayed two nights in order to visit Carlsbad National Park. We have stayed in other Home2Suites locations and found this one to be of equal quality and comfort. The hotel is bright and clean and everyone was very friendly. Be sure to ask for the restaurant listing as the hotel staff has prepared an extensive list of nearby restaurants (very helpful). The room was clean and quiet and the shower was most welcome after a day out in the heat. The breakfast was similar to other Home2Suites locations although both my wife and I felt the food here was a bit fresher and tastier. The hotel location is fine for visiting the park and Carlsbad has all the stores and restaurants you need for an enjoyable trip. We would recommend staying here.

Good location and service. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel also has a decent breakfast with multiple options. Shoutout to Savannah for her helpful service.

They ran out of many breakfast items and coffee on day 1 but the service was better the next day.

"Reservations mean jack here"

Initially was not given the room we booked. Apparently reserving and paying for a specific room 3 weeks in advance doesn’t mean you’ll get that room at this hotel. They changed our room to one with windows to the courtyard. The 11pm party out there wasn’t very quiet. I’ll not be back to this hotel.
