Villa La Preziosa

A beautiful villa close to the city (5 minutes drive) but far enough away to feel relaxing. A warm welcome from the hosts (particularly the lovely Barbara) who went above and beyond. The pool, garden and breakfasts were fabulous.

Nothing except the room was a bit too warm at night.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa La Preziosa, charming family-run hotel in outskirts of Lucca, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself is perfectly located, nestled in very close proximity to the historic city walls, which allowed us to easily explore all the beautiful attractions Lucca has to offer. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated with traditional Tuscan charm, a Royal suite indeed! The attention to detail throughout the hotel, from the décor to the amenities, truly elevated our stay. Breakfast was another highlight! Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious selection of fresh pastries, fruits, and local delicacies, exceptional scrambled egg and most importantly the warm good morning from Barbara! What really stood out to us though, The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, and ensuring that our stay was perfect from start to finish. At the airport, I noticed that I forgot my mobile phone in our room. It will be hard to believe but the owner himself brought my phone to the airport, we were treated like family rather than customers. Unbelievable experience. Don’t hesitate, this is the place to stay! We can’t wait to return and experience it all over again. Highly recommended!

Very friendly family-owned business, very well renovated villa, beautiful garden, very clean, good location to make day trips to Lucca and Pisa (if you have a car).

For the high price, I expected a bit more attention to detail (e.g., the fridge for the mini bar was just standing in the room and not hidden/integrated, plastic flowers, not the highest quality of furniture etc.). Breakfast was good, but not great. Overall, my perception is that the stay was nice, but based on value for money, I would not go again. However, this does not mean that this is not the right place for you. It is special for sure, and it can be easily enjoyed.

The property is beautiful. Well kept grounds that are easy to find a spot to sit and enjoy. The villa is beautiful and clean and comfortable.

The weather limited us from being able to enjoy the pool.

The Villa is fabulous. The rooms are wonderfully decorated. The staff is so nice and welcoming. Barbera was so nice. It was a wonderful stay. We definitely going to come back

Everything about Villa La Preziosa was greater than our expectations. Barbara was so hospitable and gave us some good recommendations for places to visit. It was a short drive to Lucca (very limited taxis) with some lovely restaurants, many of which were recommended. We had a few hours around the pool on a couple of days and it was lovely and quiet. The rooms are beautiful and the house has been renovated very sympathetically. We would love to stay there again if we visit Tuscany.

What a hidden gem!! From arrival we were welcomed by Julian and Victoria the children of the owners. We were greeted with champagne on arrival and treated like loyalty. The hotels gardens and pool are so beautiful you would pay to visit these alone. The garden even has tortoises and fruit growing which you will eat at breakfast. The rooms are gorgeous with all amenities you need including Netflix and prime. The hotel is so quiet and peaceful and perfect for anyone wanting to visit Lucca. We will be back !!

The garden, breakfast area and room are all beautiful and extraordinarily clean. Breakfast is delicious with eggs made to order. The B&B is owned and managed by a lovely family who are attentive to every need. This is a wonderful place
