The Bournbrook Inn

We like that it’s so easy to book a hotel at very last minute and check in after midnight. We can also park the car free of charge in a large parking area. Check-in staff was friendly. It took only 5 mins and we were in a nice clean room.

Breakfast could be more cheerful :-)

The location was perfect as I am visiting friends in end of life care. The staff were friendly.

I asked for a discount as I will be visiting several times in the coming weeks or months to care for friends. I was told to use the website. The metal coat hangers in the room had a notice suggesting I contact the hotel direct for best rates.. There were holes in the wall of my room- (11); mould in the bathroom; a distinct smell of cigarettes along the corridor and the perspex on the picture in the room was broken....

Not applicable at all. Was horrid from the moment walking in to the moment leaving. Would have being better sleeping in the car for the night. Or staying in the local prison cells. Incompetent staff who stated that we should not have stripped the beds as they like to do it which basically meant to conceal the issue with the bedsheets that were covered in urine. The staff eating from the hot plate in the morning with their bare hands without gloves or using the utensils. Rude cleaning staff towards myself and my 2 friends who had stayed when we went with our concerns. / (stated that the sheets where that colour and smelt of urine due to “people putting there towels on the beds”. I DO NOT THINK SO SWEETHEART AT ALL. I wouldn’t even let a dog sleep in the bed sheets absolutely disgusting.

Smelt of urine. Poor customer service Poor email management and no refund for the poor stay and music blasting out until after 1AM. Bed sheets covered in urine. No actual acknowledgment for the customer who had to ensure it. Even when reported to the front desk once found the emails I have had in return are poor staying that we should have come to front desk with our concerns as it’s 24 hour service. We told the front desk as soon as we saw the issue. I will be taking this further. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE HORRID SERVICE AND POOR CONDITIONS WHEN BOOKING AT BOURNBROOK INN. VERY VERY POOR WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
