It's a great vibe. Comfy beds. Reasonable parking $+ free valet.

Very well-maintained property, very helpful staff.

I enjoyed my stay at the Gordon for my 50th high school reunion weekend. The king suite was really lovely and just what I needed. The staff at the Gordon were accommodating and pleasant. Highly recommended.

The property is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown, campus, and about a 30 minute walk from Autzen Stadium. The Tavern has great food, but with limited entree items (would like to see more fish/seafood/wild game options, but that's just me. Tyler the bartender is fantastic along with the majority of servers and other bartenders. Had lunch at the bar one day and while the Grilled Chicken Cobb was fantastic, the bartender never smiled and was not overly friendly. The rooms are comfortable and the bed/pillows were perfect for me comfort wise. Be careful where you order Lyft/Ubers from within the hotel as the drivers were showing up at different locations if I ordered from our room.

The valet staff was excellent. Lynn went over and above to help facilitate our van. She was very sweet and attentive to make sure everything was ok.

Was a gift from family for a 1 night stay, which we chose to use for our anniversary. The front desk employees were very friendly and made us feel welcome. They helped me secretly order a bottle of champagne for the room so we could celebrate. Dinner at Carlita's was awesome as always, and 86 Speakeasy for evening drinks is a favorite thing for us to do. We had breakfast at the Gordon Bar which was quite good. I liked the fact that check-in time was early and check-out time was later. This allowed us to relax and not worry about rushing.

We had a lovely stay. The food at the tavern was delicious happy hour and breakfast. Location was great for a lil walk to the Cuthbert Amphitheater. The bed was comfy. We had a corner premium king room. The size was quite average for a “premium room”. Decor was kind of cheep looking and feeling. My other lil complaint was when we arrive we found two random nails on the carpet and literally had to get on hands and knees to make sure there were no more. Made me feel as if vacuuming did not happen prior to our arrival. Which then makes me question cleanliness.

I stayed at the Gordon 4 nights while visiting my sister and her family in Eugene, OR. I really enjoyed the location, the quality of the hotel and the staff are really kind and helpful. I also drank coffee every morning and had an apple. The only problem I experienced was with the very high bathtub sides. I am an older woman and only 5ft 2inches. I asked them to install handrails for us shorter folks to help us get in and out of the bathtub!

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, and a very upscale restaurant. The small, attached Mall is a nice touch with good coffee and breakfasts. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, especially the professionalism of the front desk. A lobby bar and rooftop bar really set the mood. I highly recommend this hotel for overall quality and comfort.

Great hotel for our first night in Oregon - plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance.
