The Gordon Hotel

My flight was overbooked and I ended up spending an extra night in Eugene, and the airline booked me into the Gordon Hotel - the gate agent called it "the best hotel in Eugene." When I got into the taxi and I told them where I was going, the driver said "oh, that's the best hotel in Eugene." It was indeed a very nice hotel, with incredibly welcoming front desk staff, a chic atmosphere, and clearly very well maintained. My room was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and the mattress was astoundingly comfortable. I enjoyed dinner at the Gordon Tavern - both the mixed greens salad and mushroom pappardelle very excellent. All in all, I wasn't expecting to spend the night in Eugene, and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable my experience at the Gordon Hotel was.

Our family was visiting U. of Oregon and this was the perfect overnight spot---clean, modern, staff wonderful--welcome drink and free snacks as check-in all highlights!

Gordon Hotel is a newer hotel with nice facilities and a co convenient location. Friendly staff a couple of nice perks such a complementary bicycle use with good quality bikes, snacks and beverages in the lobby, and an excellent gym. Walkable to several restaurants and coffee shops. Service was excellent.

overall decent midrange hotel well located near 5th street market. there is 24hr coffee in the lobby, bikes to use for free and a nice open air style lobby. valet parking is mandatory and unfortunately slow

Tate checked me in at the front desk. She was very kind and efficient. She told me all about the amenities of the hotel so I was informed. I would definitely recommend people staying here.

property and staff excellent

Great property and very clean, comfortable rooms! Carlita’s rooftop restaurant was great with really fun staff. Rachelle the bartender was very cool and made some delicious drinks! The complimentary bikes on the property was such a nice bonus as the property is very close to some great biking trails along the river. Even discovered a beautiful Rose garden along the path. Used the bike to get to Hayward field for my son’s track meets. They have complimentary grab and go snacks, bottled water and coffee in the lobby for the guests. I really enjoyed my stay there!

Such a fantastic hotel - unlike any others. Rooms are huge and beautiful with opening French doors and flowers on the balcony. The products in the bathroom smelled amazing. The service was top notch and everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly - the towels were really nice too!
