The Gordon Hotel

I liked the free shuttle and snacks, that was a nice touch! But they were really strict about checking out on time as they had someone come knocking on room doors.

I enjoyed my stay and felt it was very welcoming from the point I entered the hotel. Loved hanging out to get some work done in the Lobby and enjoyed snacks and drinks there. The art work in the corridors and lobby is AMAZING- made me want to visit every floor to check out the art! Valet parking made coming and going really easy.

I've always wanted to stay at The Gordon and on this past trip, an opportunity arrose! I was so relieved to have a comfortable place to relax, get a good night's sleep and probably the best hamburger I'd ever eaten. I loved my suite. I loved the lobby. You can't beat the location. I can't wait to stay again. Thank you very much.

The Gordon Hotel is a wonderful property located in a very walkable area of Eugene OR. The staff is very helpful and since I was traveling by air the shuttle service to the airport was especially nice. Our driver was very friendly and got us to the airport safely.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. From the start, the customer service was lackluster—staff seemed unenthused and undertrained, and no one took the time to explain the hotel amenities or even basic details like wifi login or how to operate the elevators. It felt very transactional, not welcoming. The noise at night was also a major issue. A loud train passed nearby multiple times during the night, making it hard to get any real rest. To make matters worse, every toilet flush from the room above echoed loudly into ours - it was impossible to ignore. This property has potential, but it’s clear they need better training for staff and more attention to the guest experience. Until some improvements are made, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re looking for comfort, quiet, or attentive service.

What a fun and sweet hotel! Cute artistic vibe and great food - we SO appreciate being able to bring our dog!! The main restaurant and bar is fantastic and the rooftop bar/restaurant is fun and the view is great. Super friendly staff throughout. Looking forward to staying here again sometime. LOVE the real glass and mugs in the rooms - thank you!!

nice day, decided to walk in and see about getting some drinks and sitting outside. We asked the bar tender, unfortunately he was very curt, and had air pods in while talking to us. Does management allow air pods at work while talking to the general public? After he gave us some direction on ordering drinks, my wife said "thank you", he didn't even respond. very lackluster service, on a beautiful sunny day! Second opportunity is with regards to your espresso martini. It tasted like a chocolate milk with some alcohol and Hershey chocolate dripped all over the glass. Please consider a new recipe, this one is not good, not even close. A few good things, the other drink we ordered was a lemon drop, it was made correctly, our waitress was very nice and polite and provided good service. Property looked great and other staff members greeted us as we left.

Overall, we love the Gordon but this trip had its hiccups due to NO wi-fi the 1st two days of our 3 day stay. It was finally fixed. The staff are amazing and we love the ocnvenience of the property. I do feel like they need to plan better for future events when LARGE numbers of people will be onsite.

Hotel is very nice, but the wifi didn’t work throughout our entire 3 night stay. When we brought it up to staff, they said there were “too many people on it”. I wouldn’t recommend staying here because you can find similarly priced hotels that HAVE wifi. Check out the Graduate Hotel a block away.
