The Gordon Hotel

Pros: Nice location, friendly staff, decent restaurant & bar, and clean hotel room. Cons: Was given various valet fee quotes, and the hotel did not honor initial quote. Also, hallway censors did not work properly and we were uncomfortable walking down the pitch black hallway hoping the censors would detect us.

Great location close to shops and restaurants. Cute hotel. Nice staff. Comfortable beds.

Just a fabulous hotel. Reminded me of Italy! Loved the valet service, they had a shuttle that took us to the play at U of O. Lovely restaurant on the premises. All the staff was great. I loved just strolling out the large open door to the beautiful shops outside, just steps away. Many more shops and restaurants just the next block. Also, mattress and linens were very good.

It is a beautiful hotel. Front staff was kind and check-in was quick and we were even able to get checked in a couple hours early. The rooms were artistic- bright colors and lots of artwork. A lot of attention to details with areas to meet and relax. Snacks available in the lobby free of charge. Valet parking was a good value and great service.

Would definitely recommend others to stay here. It was a grate trip

Had a great experience staying there as far as the customer service, and the property and room were very nice. However the cleaning needs to be a bit more thorough. We actually swept and wiped down tables in our room because the floor had quite a bit of debris on it and the coffee table and dining table were sticky. We really appreciate the upgrade for our room (we didn't even ask, they just upgraded us!) and how nice and helpful everyone who works there is. Only issue is there needs to be a bit more attention to detail with cleaning, especially for what you pay to stay here.
