While our stay at Balbianino had many positives, a few drawbacks stood out: No Elevator: The lack of a lift due to the facility’s age made navigating with an 8-month-old challenging (we had lot of luggage and pramp - Kinderwagen). Loud Heating System: The heating system, though effective, was too noisy and affected our little one’s mood. Compact Shower: The shower space was a tad small for our comfort. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive. We appreciate the attentive service and hope improvements can be made.

Very nice small hotel and not too far from the lake. Good breakfast and quiet location.

No breakfast and there wasn’t a nice view of the lake but everything else made up for it.

Perfect choice, next to lake. Small, quite village with all the basic comforts for a tourist. Totally recommend it.

We rented the apartment that has a kitchen. We liked the flexibility of buying things from the groceries and cooking meals. We visited in October and the restaurant options were somewhat limiting. A lot of places don't open until evening when we were there. Location is very close to the ferry and quick access to nearby towns. Staff was quick to answer questions and assist us during our stay.

We visited end of October so the following may be because it's late in the season. 1. Not many restaurants, and most only open for dinner. 2. Ferry started late (9am) and ended quite early (just after 7pm).

Location was great, so close to the lake. Front of house were lovely and super helpful, and breakfast was nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Quite out of the way if you’re coming from Como as it is around a 45 minute drive, especially if arriving by train. A taxi was around €70 or the bus was close and accessible for much less. No lift so be mindful of luggage and accessibility. Room service left a little to be desired as crockery for inside room wasn’t replaced after use and they only change bedsheets once a week.

The thighs we liked the most were how clean the room was and how close the location is to Villa Balbianello. We would definitely recommend this place! 💯
