"Very disappointing and cold."

3.0

Was self catering. Kitchen was fine and well equiped.

Filthy tiles in bathroom . Thick dust under bed. Inadequate heating and instructions..Deceptive instructions re parking which said that parking was 5mins away when in fact it is a twenty minute walk up a very steep hill and cost £8.00 a day not the £5 that was said. Also the property had very steep stairs. It should say on website that the property is totally unsuitable for the elderly or very young. Also we were told that towels were provided but not told that you got one each for a week and had to pay if you wanted more. Photos were deceptive, the lounge was tiny and like a corridor. No way 4 people could use this comfortably. All in all if the description had been honest we would not have chosen to stay there.

"VERY VERY POOR"

2.0

Nice location, kitchen was pretty

FREEZING!!! no underfloor getting, house was very cold, emailed to see if logs ir coal was to ve used on the fire ( nothing available on artival), didn't get a reply so fire wasn't used. Slept in hoody the first 2 6 kept a day early because I didn't like freezing in bed. Mould on wall in lounge, mouldy mikdewy wet room. Not pleasant, I think I would have vern warmer in my tent! Not very big, you would struggle with 4 people staying there

"Nice little cottage but with some improvements it could be fabulous"

6.0

Cute traditional fisherman's cottage. Nicely decorated throughout, particularly the kitchen, which was also really well equipped. Great location.

The house was heated with electric heaters. When we arrived the house was freezing and the heaters didn't really heat it up adequately. We ended up buying logs to make a fire. The shower room was also freezing and the electric shower was very weak so you couldn't warm up in the shower. The pillows on the beds were really lumpy and uncomfortable. The little yard at the back was not very well maintained, with lots of rubbish in it that had blown in off the street. With some updates and changes this could be a fab little cottage to stay in.

"Perfect for a couple on a lazy weekend"

8.0

The location was fabulous, and the property itself was very quaint with all the amenities required.

The house was very cold, even with all the radiators on & the bed in the master bedroom felt rather small. The sofa also seemed to have quite a few dog hairs on it.

"Relaxing break in a lovely location."

9.0

Location was excellent, was fitted out to a good standard, lovely and clean. WiFi was good.

The radiator in the living room, didn’t provide enough heat, which meant we had to use the fire. There was a small amount of coal, but not enough for the 2 days we were there, which resulted in us purchasing fuel from the local convenience store. It might be pertinent to make guests aware to purchase coal if staying in the winter.
