Higher Primrose Cottage

The cottage was perfect for our stay to see our daughter in Winkleigh. It was cosy and comfortable and perfect for our stay. It was lovely to be a/Le to arrive and settle quickly. The cottage was lovely and warm and the log burner was brilliant. Best one we’ve come across. Lots of lovely touches to make us welcome. Thank you. We’ll definitely love to stay again.

The cottage is homely , cosy and beautifully furnished. It’s an old cottage but the bathroom is new and modern. Kitchen well equipped and well heated. The owner could not have been more helpful and left a courtesy basket with bread, milk, jams and drink. The position in the village is perfect with a village shop and pub close. Plenty of free parking in the square which was so close and easy, I parked there each evening. I will certainly stay again if I’m in the area and would recommend to everyone. X

To be honest there were no negatives

It's a small cozy and comfortable cottage, in a good location in a small village, with two good pubs. There was good attention to detail and nice welcoming and homely touches.

Like home from home. Everything you need in this little cottage. I read reviews that the parking was tight and restricted but I managed to reverse my Caddy van without trouble. Beautiful little village, very dog friendly and a couple of nice pubs within walking distance. Nothing is too much trouble for Nicole the host, she would go out of her way to make sure you had a pleasant stay. Would definitely return here.

We loved the house, the arrangements and the welcoming feeling when we entered the house. We loved the little garden that was outside, where we enjoyed the coffee in the morning and the late night that we had outside. We had everything that we needed. We felt better than at home. It's a very special little place where I encourage everyone to go. Is a one time opportunity. We can't wait to come back to this magical place. Thank you to Nicole for trusting her wonderful cottage. We enjoyed every single corner of the house.
