L accueil, les explications, l endroit est assez calme, l appartement est assez grand et bien équipé.

Un peu excentre , un peu vieillot

The rooms were spacious and we really loved the vibe of the neighborhood. The host ( Mr Mori) is the main highlight of the stay : he made sure to explain everything to us to make our stay as smooth as possible. He prepared hand made maps and infirmation booklets and was very responsive and understanding of all our requests. I don't think we will ever stay in a different place in Kyoto in he future.

Nothing / our stay was perfect

Good location, only 1 train stop away from Kyoto station. Plenty of local shops in walking distance. The host is responsive, check in and check out are smooth and easy.

Slow internet, unstable connection

The location is excellent on a quiet street but still only a 10 minute walk to the closest station, closer if you want the bus. The host was extremely helpful and information was provided in multiple languages. He also went out of his way to collect flyers for us upon our arrival so we could see local upcoming events to visit, and there was an up-to-date list of where cherry trees were blooming and how full their blooms were including if there was any night time light up happening. We really enjoyed staying here.

The bunk beds are right beside the kitchen, but it isn't a problem if you don't wake up earlier and than the people in the bunk beds! :)
