Best Friends Roadhouse and Mercantile

Traveling with the Odin and found this gem. Small dog park areas on site, way beyond "pet friendly", it's literally designed and intended for your pet. Pull out dog beds, treats at check in and located a convenient distance to dozens of things to do. When you stay, ask about a little volunteer time at their sanctuary.

What a wonderful property! Perfect stay if you want to bring your fur babies along or host a sleepover from the sanctuary. They have carefully thought out all the amenities for you and your pet. I will be back.

We loved the cabin. It was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed. It's like a cute efficiency apartment. Very beautiful setting as well. Our only issue was the bed was a little soft for our liking, but not bad at all. A great first experience at the cabins.

This was our 2nd visit to Best Friends’ Sanctuary and stay at the Roadhouse. Our time there was amazing! Beds and rooms are super-comfy, clean, and well- designed. Great breakfast offerings included!

My dog and I loved the place from check in to check out. They had his name welcoming him on a chalkboard as we checked in. He usually rejects the treats most hotels offer but loved theirs . The unleashed area was spacious and lush. The breakfast area was pet friendly which you don't find in most hotels. The staff all seem to care about animals . The room was very nice and modern and not expensive. It is reasonably close to Zion ,Bryce Canyon and the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

Great place to stay with your pet

We had a sleep over with Best Friends and the accommodations for the dog were awesome...water and food bowls, bed for the dog...which by the way was not where he slept...on the bed with great-granddaughter was his choice. Great outside park area for your dog with fresh water, grass security fence and gate.

We loved our stay at the cottages at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary! Waking up to see horses, goats, and pigs right outside was such a special experience. The scenery in the middle of Kanab is absolutely stunning, and the cottage itself was spacious, comfortable, and peaceful. We even had a “sleepover” with Bonita the kitty—she was absolutely adorable and made our stay even more memorable. A truly heartwarming experience!

Love this place. Super clean, the nicest staff, beautiful decor, and comfy for pets. We will return!

Beautiful, friendly clean. Serves a nice animal charity friendly and nice. Had chai which was tasty and fair prices. Lots of cute merchandise for the sanctuary.
