The dining facilities leave a lot to be desired

Average at best. Food choice on the night I stayed was very limited, and curry I had was poor. I wouldn’t stay again

Good sized room, and being top floor able to open the window properly too.

The hotel is partially an old country inn, although the majority of the accommodation is in a more modern block. Centrally controlled heating was on all night, making it stiflingly hot, which in turn forced us to sleep with the ground floor windows open. Additionally, we were supplied only with the ends of two toilet rolls (for a family of four) and ran out in the night!

The customer service was excellent and the staff were great very friendly, kind and nothing was a problem

Sort of great, but could be loads better. Id paid for an upgrade room, arrived st 8pm, was checked in, given minimal information, kitchen times, breakfast instructions etc. I was handed my key and briefly told where my room (103) was, which sounded like a bit of a trek. At this time it was dark, i was carrying my bags, laptop, hangers with clothes, walking through the grounds in pitch black for a while. I eventually found my room using the torch on my phone as the area wasnt lit at all. My room looked good, however there was a dirty pillow case on the floor in the bathroom, plus some debris. I was pleased to see a fridge, hoping there would be water as it was getting rather late, unfortunately not. Room was fairly comfortable, bed was good, bathroom rather tired. Tv in lounge area but not in bedroom. Breakfast was ok, but staff could have been a tad more smiley, there was a youth in a tracksuit in and out of the kitchen, not a great look. Would i stay here again? Probably, loads of others around warwick, Leamington, Stratford etc though.

A pleasant hotel Lacked atmosphere as only a few guests using the Bar and Restaurant Handy for our trip to Warwick and Stratford upon Avon

have stayed there many times and that is why i like going back

no hot water in whole building

I have stayed here a few times and always enjoyed my stay. I was a little disappointed this time. We stayed two nights. The bath was very dirty on arrival but was cleaned after our first night. We only had one bath towel. We requested a second towel and were given 4 bath mats! The breakfast was very overcooked and no eggs. Evening meal was nice. The bed was extremely hard which I did not like. Not sure I will stay here again.
