Hotel am Doktorplatz

The hotel is conveniently located, clean and quiet.

Even though I was aware of this, it is weird not to check in with a person at a reception desk. I would quite happily check in at the Koenigs hotel for some human interaction! It feels like there is no one to talk to if there is a problem or if you simply have a question.

The room was prepared faster, because I arrived early.

The breakfast was served at another hotel in the neighborhood.

Breakfast was at sister hotel nearby. Great value for money.

Advertised as biking hotel. But couldn’t assist me with hiring a bike!

The location is perfect. They have free Apfelschörle and bottled sparkling water in the entrance and a nice coffee machine too. The receptionists and the lady at the bar helped me to hire a taxi. They were very kind and helpful.

Internet connection was bad after the second night. Sometimes it doesn’t connect at all. Maybe they should have a look at the internet issues.

It’s nicely located in the city center. Quick response to emails. Water for free. Comfortable bed, bathroom was ok.

It’s all self-check in and self check-out, which isn’t a problem. But I thing for no service the price per night could be less. 120€ is a bit steep for a night in a small city in a hotel with no staff and breakfast.

The hotel was very aesthetically furnished.

There was no air conditioning in the room, and the windows did not have fly screens, so mosquitoes came into the room when opening the windows when venting. Furthermore, the room is located in the center of the city, it was quite noisy.

I stayed at the Koenigs Hotel their sister hotel. I had a great stay and the staff were very helpful. The room was large and comfortable, and breakfast was good.
