Philippou Beach Villas & Apartments

The location was really good in terms of its close access to the promenade /beach. Being gated it was very safe for the young children. The Villa itself was very spacious and well appointed. There were no problems with any of the facilities and utilities. The property was very clean. There was sufficient car parking space. The 2 patios worked really well.

Everything was great. The apartment is clean, equipped with everything you might need. A beautiful view of the sea, which is just a few steps away. The owner is friendly, ready to help with any questions. He prepared all the necessary food and water in the refrigerator for the first day. Many thanks to Filippo and his uncle. If I have to visit Cyprus again, then only here!

Very friendly, punctual and kind host. Easy contact with the owner. We were greeted with complimentary dairies, fruits and vegetables in the fridge. Comfortable bed mattresses. Good location close to a coastal walkway. Private car park.

The bathroom could use renovation. Tap and shower water flow are very low. Rinse takes time and demands patience. Hot water available after pre-heating (it lasts about 30 min). We stayed in January. Plus the weather was not the best given the season of the year, which made nights really cold inside. The appartment is not equipped with central heating, which is not a surprise in the Mediterranean, so if you count on warm sleep, you must use air conditioning for heating. That costs extra.

Loved the gracious nature of the hosts. They were very helpful and always available on call. And all the appliances and facilities were in place.

Could install another water heater in the bathroom below. One water heater for a family of 8 proved a bit daunting. And because it was very cold, all the family members did not receive the hot water as expected.
