Villa 53

The staffs were very nice, friendly and welcoming. They thought about each guest and was flexible with their service. We also liked the Sri Lankan style breakfast.

Lovely friendly welcome from the owner on arrival, along with a much-needed glass of juice! Beautiful room, very well equipped (even a hair-dryer!). The breakfast was second to none. Delicious dosas with great curry and sambal, fresh fruit and great coffee. Would stay again if in Colombo.

This is an exceptional Homestay property. It is a large private gated villa with charming hosts Sriyantha & Champi who make you most welcome. The architecture of this Villa is stunning, tall glass walls opening out to a good sized pool set in a well maintained landscaped garden with two separate seating areas. Back inside the large open downstairs area a sweeping grand staircase takes you up to your huge suite. The decor and furnishings are extremely tasteful and stylised. Breakfast is a choice between continental or Sri Lankan with generous portions of fruit and fresh juice served either outside or in the large kitchen with Champi. Highly recommend this property It should be rated 5 star.

You cannot fault your stay here. We chose it because it is close to the Immigration Department and we needed to get extensions on our visas. It is away from the main area of Colombo but easy enough to access the City by tuk tuk or cab.

What a beautiful oasis of peace and tranquillity in the busy suburbs. We booked 4 nights and would happily have stayed longer had we not had flights booked. The suite we stayed in was exceptionally spacious, tastefully furnished, and equipped, and the photos were accurate. The hosts were kind and generous and were more than happy to prepare vegetarian western style breakfasts, which included homemade guacamole, which was delicious. The pool was a great size, and we swam in it most afternoons. I would have no hesitation in returning and would especially recommend Villa 53 to others.

Large room with amenities. Close to the city. Very decent host and polite staff members.

No balcony as mentioned in the listing. It would be great if it had a bidet shower. Pool area could be a little more cleaner.

Very nice homestay in Colombo, with super friendly hosts! Our room was very big, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast very nice! The homestay feels very secure and the owners speak excellent English!

The bathroom could use some maintenance, and the AC is quite noisy.

Very grand and nice Hotel. Great stop if your sorting out your Visa super close to the office. Pool was clean and the room was massive very happy. great Breakfast as well

What a lovely people and villa. Unfortunately we only where here one night. But it was a very good experienxe. We lived the pool and breakfast.
