ibis budget Swindon

Easy check in. Room was reasonable size. Had to book at very short notice as we had to unexpectedly stay overnight in Swindon. Much appreciated that you could accommodate us at short notice.

Opening the outside door on arrival was not immediately obvious. Noticed several people querying this.

Really good value for quality of the property, the rooms might be considered small but space was used efficiently no dead walking like in other hotels, bed was really comfortable and a good quality Aircon slept really well considering the heat wave, insulation from noise and heat were really good. toilets and shower facilities were top notch, seem poorer quality establishments charge far more. check in was super quick and staff were really friendly, the lady at breakfast was friendly and said good morning which was pleasant to feel welcome.

Breakfast options were limited mostly continental but this was expected at the bargain they charged so can't complain, more than enough to satisfy your morning hunger

Vegan options for the breakfast were great (although just some vegan margarine would help).

Suggests a number of times in listing that there is air conditioning... granted we were in a heat wave but there was no chance that puny unit was going to make any difference. Check in was hard work, was sent info on booking.com but no email so no links worked. Had to wait a while for anyone to come. Very limited parking and heigh restricted, this would be worth adding in description as I booked before knowing this.
