Uji Tea Inn

Very charming space. Loved staying there. The staff were very friendly.

Quite tight for 3 people and the beds were horribly uncomfortable. All of us prefer firm mattresses, but only one of us found the futons even remotely adequate.

スタッフの皆様の雰囲気、対応がよくて、ホッとするお宿でした。旅先でのこのようなお宿は本当に安心します。一人で宿泊の予定でしたが、急に冠婚葬祭が当たり、友人が一緒に宿泊したいというところを快くOKしてくださいました。本当にありがとうございました！

お部屋にトイレバスあり、と思って泊まったら、トイレとシャワールームでした。サイトの情報をよくよく読んだら、バス、またはシャワールーム付き、となっていました。私がよく読んで確認しておらず、勝手にバスタブありと思い込んでいただけで、表記にはなんら落ち度はないのですが、もう少しはっきりと表示してあればよいかな、と思います。ちゃんと浸かれるお風呂とシャワーは、日本人なら結構すごい差かと。きちんと把握できているとよりありがたかったです。

Old style ryokan. Quiet and peaceful area of town and good location between two train stations (short walk). Strong WiFi for internet. Facilities are very clean. I stayed here last year also.

Sleeping on a futon over tatami mats may not be comfortable for everyone.

Very nice place to stay at especially close for buying authentic matcha, walking distance to tea shops and to the Nintendo Museum. The area is very quiet and calm. Close by to at beautiful shrine. Very friendly staff to guide us and greet us.

Charming traditional house close to the Nintendo Museum and the train station. I stayed there in the japanese room close to the entrance, big enough for me with a cattle for tea available. Nice atmosphere in a full wood house with a nice traditional small garden. The lady at the reception has been really nice helping me in finalizing my Matcha shopping tour for the day after sharing recos and suggestion and ideas for where to have dinner. The house is offering also a full equiped kitchen (the biggest I see in japan) so you can also grab somefood from the nearby supermarket. You can walk from the hotel to uji citycenter with a nice walk too.

古民家風でおしゃれ　部屋は綺麗でした、 ほとんどの方は愛想良かったです

トイレや洗面所のタオルが汚い、ペーパーおいてほしい、、、バスタオル2日目からは有料、連泊したのに部屋の掃除しない。 スタッフが居ない時が多く何もきけない、 愛想ないスタッフが一人いました。
