T & T Hostel Kanchanaburi

Location near river, dining, entertainment, and railway station. Comfortable room, riverview bar.

Bathroom needed some very minor repair.

We did not stay in this property, when we arrived to the place at 11PM, they said there is no free room(even though we have reservation and paid from card), so they tried to help us find another hotel, and found with very dirty beds, walls and bed like rock. Old furniture. Also they refused to refund us, were impolite and did not even say sorry. We had to look for new hotel in the middle of the night. Also they tried to fool us on money, and said it’s impossible to cancel booking and return money, so we have to contact support

Everyone was really friendly and very helpful. I really liked the energy of the place:)

The room on the river was very good. It’s worth the price. The view was amazing. Don’t be afraid you’ll feel sometimes like you’re on a boat :)

Erm....

Don't expect to sleep. They keep a parrot in cage for some reason. The poor thing squawks right through the early hours. Meanwhile the restaurants directly across the river have an assortment of competing awful loud bands playing till past midnight.

Location was passable, near lots of bars and restaurant etc., there were free towels and the staff was absolutely lovely

the bungalows on the water were hideous, there was mold on the walls and the smell in there was so bad. there were worms on the walls and the ceiling which ended up in my backpack, there were mosquitos all over the place and the heat got so bad. eventually we had an upgrade to an AC room which was much cleaner and more comfortable, however the bathrooms were absolutely basic, which would be fine for the money but they were not clean as well.

We loved the hostel itself and yeh common area very much ! The location & staff were lovely The view was incredible

The floating rooms need a serious update we literally couldn't stay in them it was so hot, that fab in the wall doesn't do much, maybe if there was an actual bed instead of the mattress in the floor and mirror in the room it would be so much better 😊
