Hotel Villa Magus

Excellent hotel in an amazing location! The room was spacious and clean, the view from the balcony was very picturesque. Staff was very polite and helpful. The first morning the breakfast was a la carte (we had to choose the night before), second morning was a buffet. Food was good and abundant. We tried the restaurant for dinner and the food was good quality with an excellent presentation. Concerning the spa, we used the pool (very decent size), steam room and sauna (very spacious). Villa Magus is great for a weekend getaway, some spa time and walks in nature.

Indoor pool area is a bit small. Towels were clean but a bit worn down.

The hotel had a nice view and was clean, which I appreciated.

However, we had specifically requested a pet-free room, but when I asked the receptionist, they told me there were no pet-free rooms available — and there was actually a dog in the room next to ours. The room also didn’t have a proper table to place and open a suitcase, which was quite inconvenient. It was also very noisy, especially in the morning. At breakfast, the food was served cold and not all at once. For example, the eggs were brought out cold and at different times. In the evening, we ordered dinner at the restaurant and had the same issue — both the starter and main course were cold and didn’t arrive together. One of us finished their starter completely before the other person’s even arrived. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The service is excellent, the food is very delicious, the rooms are big and comfortable, but it definitely needs renovation of the rooms, pool and SPA.

The furniture is old, as well as the SPA and they need renovation.

The restaurant was good, fresh and honest kitchen. A reason to come back. Very quiet at night.

We didn't like the pool and spa area. It is not comfortable at all and the pool was not 30 degrees for sure. May be 24,25. It is cold for kids. There is no relax zone as u expect in another spa hotels. The room were amortised. I wouldn't say it is a 4 star hotel...it doesn't value the money.
