Hilton Garden Inn Kalamazoo

Hotel was great, staff was super nice, area around the hotel seemed pretty run down. In it's defense I didnt have a lot of time to explorer so could have been better than my initial impressions.

Upon checking in, there was a little confusion with the room type we booked during our online reservation. We contacted the front desk, where we connected with Adam J - and we couldn’t believe EVERYTHING he did to make this minor mishap right. All we anticipated was getting moved to a different room, and that would have been more than enough, but he went above and beyond to make us not feel like rolling guests through a hotel. The room was great, comfortable bed and pillows, strong AC unit, all around good amenities, and friendly staff. The restaurant inside the hotel had a nice rounded menu/drinks and all the food we had was delicious (their pizza was chef’s kiss!). They have a nice outdoor patio for summer nights and the staff even came out to light the propane fire pit for us. We also appreciated the parking garage skywalk connected directly to the hotel, that ended up being super convenient. Overall, we will be staying here when we visit Kalamazoo from now on all because of Adam’s professional and kind demeanor, along with providing customer service that blew our standards away and competing hotels (no other hotels have come close to this service level). We’ll be recommending this hotel to our friends visiting the area because of our experience here. Thanks again, Adam! You’re a true G.

Kenzie has once again manifested her magnificent composure whilst I stumbled thru IMO my bumbling attempt to give her this well-deserved 5 star seque into a paradiddle of 5 stars!!!

We chose the Hilton Garden Inn for its proximity to Bronson Hospital where my mother-in-law was taken for a brain injury. She went into a coma and then we took her to hospice, and we were making decisions to stay day-to-day. I cannot thank Kenzie and Adam enough for their understanding and going out of their way to make things easier for us in every way. Our stay was clean, comfortable and stress free which made our tough situation the best it could be. We would highly recommend this hotel and its staff for the wonderful and compassionate service! Thank you!

I had one night stay at this property with my family. Location and Ambience was very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable , and icing on the cake is that staff was so gentle and cooperative. I would like thank Adam Johnson , the Duty Manager , and Maddy P who made us feel so good that we would like to certainly patronize this hotel every time we visit Kalamazoo.

Room is great, but bathroom didn’t look like it had been cleaned.

A package was sent while we were away from the hotel and the front desk offered to place the package in the room for us so it would be there when we returned.

The hotel staff addressed any concerns we had.
