WoodSpring Suites West Des Moines

Very basic hotel. Limited amenities. No breakfast. Sketchy area.

1. The building is newer with nice flooring and structure. 2. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. 3. Nice kitchen and fridge. I wish I knew that there was no cooking or eating utensils. We had to buy everything. 4. The website said the hotel was on the lake. But it's a dirty little pond. We'll definitely stay there again. We just need to pack our own utensils.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and nice. Very nice place and enjoyed the stay.

There are no curtains to keep the light out. No replacement items if you forgot yours...lkke toothbrush, shampoo, etc.

Nice rooms. Smelled like an old man and dogs.

The room smelled bad I got here early. And they let me check in. I told the heavy set lady with glasses that i wanted to extend. I just have to hear back from the facility. Not even 24 hours later from checking in and i get a notice that my room was already booked. Like i just told her me and my boyfriend are traveling for work. We just arrived here from NY 16 hour drive. Not to call the room and ask if i still need to extend before letting someone book it. How rude.

No shampoo or soaps and 2 tiny towels and no front desk staff to address the issue. This was at 9 pm. Room smells like tacos. Very disappointed in this property.

Easy right off I80

Clean, kitchenette, location, parking, value. Microwave ans full fridge in room.

Smelled a little like chemicals. Not even coffee in the lobby, which i knew they dont have breakfast but a 10$ coffee maker would be nice to serve coffee. Or an ice machine that would help alot to fill cooler. Super thin walls like some others have stated. I usually sleep heavy but was kept up late and woke up too early, could hear everything.

The staff was frriendly. The room waa clean and comfortable. As an extended stay, I did ecpect utensils and pots/pans etc in the room, were not provided. Everything else was great.

Nothing

There was no staff at all. Couldn’t get any extra towels. No breakfast at all. Just an absolute weird hotel.
