Hampton Inn & Suites Avon Indianapolis

Great hotel. Everything that we needed. Good location with shops and food around. Would stay again.

The pool was clean and offered some toys for the kids to play with. Service was friendly. The only issue was that we found food in the floor that wasn't ours.

My family and I stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Avon, Indiana (193 Angelina Way) on July 26, and were still in disbelief over what happened. We asked the General Manager, Heidi Jacobson, a simple and respectful question about our room charges—a completely normal part of any hotel stay. Instead of providing clarity, she became hostile, dismissive, and threatening. We did nothing wrong. We were calm and professional. But as a Black family, it’s hard not to see this as racially charged behavior. The way we were spoken to was aggressive and completely unprovoked. We left the hotel feeling disrespected, unsafe, and unwelcome. This was not a service issue—it was a leadership and conduct issue. We are urging Hilton to investigate what happened and ensure no other guest, especially one from a marginalized group, is treated like this.

I normally don't leave reviews, but, this time I was truly impressed by the check-in process at this hotel. When I arrived, the hotel system was down and the front desk person, was amazing. Her name is Bre, and I will say she tried everything she could to get me checked in but it just wouldn't work. She never lost her cool and kept calm from beginning to end. It's hard these days to find customer service like this and she deserves all 5 stars of this review.
