Great resort! Service is next to none and food was delicious! Every member of the staff was helpful and professional. Will go above and beyond for you.

We came for a three night, romantic getaway and left feeling refreshed and relaxed. First of all the property is over the top beautiful with so much to do, we only left one time to hike the redwood forest. Enjoyed pool days and a massage. Complementary E bike riding was fun! Views from our balcony stunning. I can’t say enough about the room, the big soaking tub, the outdoor shower, the fire pit on the porch, the comfortable bed, just everything about it was first class. The property manager, Anna was so professional and helpful with everything from dinner rez to airport transportation, which is a short ride away if you’re flying into Santa Rosa (nonstop from Dallas is so easy). We will be back to recharge our batteries soon! You are treated like royalty at Montage, it’s worth every penny.

Phenomenal experience. Favorite place in Sonoma - so relaxing and amazing staff. Rooms were terrific and the facility is gorgeous. We took a complimentary archery class, played pickleball, hung out by the pool, enjoyed the restaurants and wine and toured the property!

The Montage is such a stunning and blissful place to stay in wine country! The service and people were always very nice. Upon arrival, they greeted us with a "splash" of welcome wine and drove us to our room via golf cart. The rooms are beautifully appointed...ours had a vineyard view with a fire pit on the patio to enjoy the gorgeous wine country sunsets! The resort has great amenities, including free use of e-bikes (2 hrs each day, then you pay $30/bike/hr beyond that). The gentleman who loaned us the bikes was very helpful and directed us to a lovely ride up Dry Creek, this was a highlight of our trip. We also had the opportunity to dine at Hazel Hill, which was very good. The views of the property from the patio at the restaurant are lovely. Literally the only issue we encountered was pretty consistent long waits at valet to grab our car, despite requesting via text in advance. The team was always super friendly and apologetic, but something seems like it's not quite humming with their process. The property is also a haven for wildlife, with birds, foxes, owls, deer and turkeys (heard them every morning) wandering around. We even had a baby deer literally lounging next to our window every day! We had a magical trip and would highly recommend the Montage!

Absolutely gorgeous & pristine resort with lovely staff who say all the right things.. but just doesn't quite deliver on it's promise. Service is slow & mistake prone. Rooms not properly stocked, in room dining can take 1.5 hours+ without warning, & in room dining food is quite bad. Hazel Hill was fantastic. Guest House was breathtaking. Overall service needs a major upgrade.

Everything 5 star, except the shuttle and bell. Karo our server at the pool was amazing! 1 star for bell and shuttle. 25 minutes for your car, 30 minutes to get to your room and left us for 40 minutes waiting for bell and a ride to the lodge. Finally walked down and told them to grab the luggage when they had time. If we had needed to be somewhere, we would have been an hour late.

Pros—Loved our stay. Beautiful property, setting and accommodations. Excellent food, in fact far better than some of the renown restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Cons—just a few. Pool area has some three sided cabanas at an additional charge of $450! Seems really night after spending $1500-2000 a night. Our room was beautiful with great views but easily viewed by other guests walking by, shades that could roll up vs down would ensure privacy and views. Golf carts bring you to your rooms; however only the male staff operates them and since many guests tip , the women on staff don’t get that opportunity to earn some extra cash.

The room is beautiful, but the service is lacking. We typically stay at 5 star resorts, and expect a level of service that was missing at the Montage Healdsburg. Perhaps their attention was diverted due to them hosting a large wedding. This is a venue that hosts a lot of weddings so if you go when they do not have a wedding, your experience may be different from ours. It took over an hour for us to receive our bags after check in, the housekeeping team left dirty laundry bags outside of our door after servicing our room until I called to have it picked up, and room service forgot key components of some of the dishes we ordered. At these prices, this is unacceptable.

An incredible team from the golf cart driver to the front desk to the bar tenders. The property is stunning and lots of activities to do. The team knows you by name, the food was fresh and delicious, and everything was clean. I would highly recommend the Montage Healdsburg.
