Great location near everything, the room was great, all was good value for the money.

People that consider coming here need to know they will need to walk a bit up on a small hill but for us it wasn't a problem at all, it wasn't so hard or long. We loved it.

Very pretty and cozy Japanese house. Owner is just 10/10, he shared all the best places in town. His English is not perfect, but there are beautifully hand made posters about everything on the walls.

We had a really lovely stay here. Such a warm welcome and the place was lovely. Great location too! Make sure you head to the nearby free onsen (chiyono yu) and the otaki no yu onsen (our favourite). The art around the guesthouse is very cool too - lots of local artists!

対応してくれた方が親切でした。 入泊の際に夜は騒がないように説明があるため、夜は静かに眠れました。

サイトで紹介している山の湯ホテル駐車場は貸切の場合があります。当日行ってみないと分かりません。貸切の場合は15分程歩いた草津観光駐車場に停める必要があるため、大きな荷物の方は注意する必要があります。
