The Blue Church Lodge

I called Louise with a number of questions about Blue Church Lodge. There was not a lot of pictures of the rooms and we were traveling for a 60th Birthday party. She was rather rude and hung up on me at one point and was very frustrated that I called back and asked more questions about the location and lodging room layout. Fortunately for us we found a house on Three Kings Drive that was closer to skiing but further from Main Street. Blue Church Lodge sounds and looks like a quaint bed and breakfast type of lodge but the person managing the bookings needs some better people skills.

Can not speak more highly of Louise and her staff at Blue Church Lodge. This is a very unique venue and the renovations that transformed the building from a church into condo units was done very well. Neat characteristics of the church remain within and each unit is very well equipped. The proximity to town was great and off street/garage parking.

Overall, happy we chose Blue Church Lodge because location is great--steps away from Main st. We had a 3 bedroom/3 bath for a fair price. No Air Conditioning! Lots of fans provided, but not a great night's sleep. Also, during our 2 night stay, we never saw one person who worked for the lodge. No coffee service either morning although advertised in confirmation letter--not a huge deal-just an FYI.

I have been coming back to Blue Church Lodge for over 14 years, and the team always provide a warm welcome. Whether you are looking to book a couples weekend, or a large group trip, BCL is ideally located with a cosy atmosphere that cannot be beaten. It is a home away from home!
