Spacious rooms. Walk to all the downtown restaurants and shops. Very clean and will definitely stay again

Clean and convenient to all of the places we like to go.

Cute place, enter by passcode which was new to us. Hard to find from Main Street, and parking was a mystery at first. We weren’t really sure where to go even after we parked. Once we found the entrance and our room everything was fine. Would come again.

Was more like a little apartment than just a hotel room. Nicely appointed, was great to have a full size fridge and kitchen. Location was excellent for us. Really liked the building, a refurbished old brick building.

Noise between rooms. Someone checked into the room next to us and were excited how nicely appointed it was. I could hear their conversation almost as if they were in the room with us. We ended up whispering when we talked as what sound goes one way goes the other. As a few others have noted, some type of blackout blind on the window would be a cheap and beneficial improvement. There was a bright light directly outside our window facing us and the louvered blinds didn't quite block it out.

We stay here often due to its proximity to Roanoke College and have previously had wonderful experiences. It’s within walking distance to several restaurants, Roanoke College and several shops.

I booked our mid-August stay in May and requested a particular room. Our requests have always been honored in the past. Two days before our arrival, I received a notification that my reservation had been cancelled and a new reservation had been made into a more expensive room. It took a few attempts, but I was finally able to contact someone via telephone. I had no luck via email. I was told that my reservation was changed due to the visitors in the room we reserved wanting to extend their stay. Shouldn’t they be asked to change rooms if they want to stay longer?We were eventually put in a king suite at the original reservation rate, but the room was on the street side and was fairly loud as Main Street is busy! We managed to have a nice time and got our daughter moved into her dorm, but are still confused that someone who wants to extend their stay an extra day gets consideration over a reservation that has been made three months prior. We have several pending reservations, all made in May and hopefully they’ll be honored as booked.

Urine stained bed was unreal, after taking the sheets off to be washed is when the stains were noticed.

This was an unexpected great find last minute. Beautiful building. Awesome apartment lofts. Awesome location to downtown coffee shops and restaurants. Nice lighting around the neighborhood. We stayed 1 night and it was perfect. Good parking. Bonus! Washer and dryer in the apt!
