"Decent choice for the price"

Good location, central in the old town. Good price and helpful staff. But no real common area, as the cafe on the ground floor closed at 5. And our room got quite hot (even with AC), as one of the walls touches the outside and spends each day in full sun, so it became like a radiator.

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience at Kayan Hostel. I've booked 2 nights with breakfast included...and I paid extra for the breakfast. The surprise was... they don't do breakfast at the hostel. Water pressure at the shower is very low. U barely can have a proper shower. And late in the night, there was a rat in the lobby. I don't recommend it and for sure I won't go back.
