The apartment was beautiful, the bedrooms were a good size, with comfy beds. The kitchen was particularly impressive

The shower in the en suite could do with a deep clean

The property is in a great location. We found it ideal for walking to the shops, bars and restaurants. It’s extremely warm and has some very nice touches. Wonderfully spacious with the en-suite and bathroom plus utility. It was ideal in many ways for our family stay. Or it should have been!

Our problems began when we arrived. We quickly found the key safe following the clear instructions sent to us but I was extremely alarmed to see it sitting on the actual code! Unsurprisingly it opened straight away (it did not have any kind of cover) and there was no key. The company had already phoned to introduce themselves. Getting a lot of details wrong on the call. Personally I found this overkill as we travel A LOT and trust in the details however I knew I had someone to call and report this to. The first individual who answered the phone made me repeat myself a couple of times before passing me onto another member of staff … who had me repeat myself again! He told me there was no one to blame for this and that the cleaner probably had the key and he’d get her to come back. No apology. No ownership. No care - where were we whilst locked out our accommodation? How had we arrived?!? I got an apology when I asked for one and insisted in a faster response - after all someone was sadly to blame for this! Yet how could I be sure who had the key?!? It is not nice staying somewhere knowing your key is missing but your personal belongings are sitting in there! We were let in reasonably quickly after that but the very poor start and handling left a bad taste in my mouth. The apartment appears lovely however it was dirty with hairs in the shower, stains on the carpet, dirty used ovenware in the cooker and our bedroom light hanging off the ceiling. Not good! I only booked it because I hoped that the company had taken heed of the poor reviews on here. It is clear they sadly have not! They did call again to see we were enjoying our stay - something I found incredulous as above! I made reference to the poor handling of the key but this was again ignored. Find yourself somewhere else to stay would be my advice. There is no shortage of good properties and good owners and this regrettably isn’t one.

Spacious.

Strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from neighbouring apartment, had to buy air fresheners and have windows open. Could do with a good clean, empty beer bottle left at side of sofa and my 3yr old daughter found a packet of prescription pills under the sofa!

We liked position of apartment and location was convenient for us and our commitments. Bed was very comfortable and lovely towels and clean bed linen. Spacious with 1 en suite shower room and separate bathroom. Bonus was the utility room for hanging towels to air after showers. There is a washing machine if you are on an extended stay. Good parking and lift to floors.
