very very friendly staff. very comfortable clean room (we were group of 6). Beds very comfortable. ski bus stops right outside front door. restaurant very good. kitchen facilities very good for cooking own meals.

two twin beds were encased in one frame. could not separate.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were nice (although a bit worn-out) and the apartment was spacious for our family of four. Oh and the bed was just perfectly hard for sleeping (I.e. not so soft that you sink in it). We could regulate our heating and were able to cook our meals without much trouble (stove with 4 electric plates)

The one thing I always have problems with is the cutlery - even though I'm on vacation I try to cook more complex dishes and usually don't get a decent cutting knife on the premises. Will probably fix this by bringing my own the next time. Here we only had a large bread knife (serrated edge) and several steak knives, but nothing to peel and cut onions. The other thing worth mentioning is that you have to walk a bit to get to the slopes but I the end we found it manageable - to get there you have to cross the street, walk up a small slope, put on your skis and go down a bit get off your skis and go by foot again to get to the kid slope. Once there you can get anywhere. To get back you need to take the gondola to colfosco and get back to the hotel by skiing on a forest road (which is Full of snow, so no worries). All I all a bit of decent warm up.

The staff there is super nice and helpful, they helped us with all our requests. The residence is perfectly functional, they have everything you need for your stay and it is located within walking distance (10-15mins) for Cavara city center!
