Quiet neibourhood and friendly staff

The facility itself is a bit old and outdated

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The facilities is good. Good environment.

The waitstaff and front desk were very helpful in all of our needs during our stay before we returned to our own country. Breakfast was served and was free, as was the coffee that they made for us in the evening. Great residential neighborhood and sidewalks to enjoy morning and evening walks. They arranged taxis airport shuttles even at 3 AM

Upgrades in the rooms were needed, there are no elevators, the hallways are tight, and it is like an older apartment-hotel. A little too stuffy for the ones who like verandas and fresh air. Smaller rooms at 250 square feet of space.

Drawn by the good reviews we booked 2 days before leaving Uganda. I believe we were just really unlucky. We booked a superior room that I believe was hardly ever used, it was dusty (shower head) and a bit dirty. Then we had to switch room because we kept finding a wasp inside and realized it was building her nest on the ceiling of the room. The second room was cleaner but unfortunately for the whole duration of our stay we had no hot water. The plumber even came but still the water from the shower was barely warm. Staff, with a couple of few exceptions, was useless. Upon arrival we were "greeted" by a young woman who barely talked to us at all. We had to ask about breakfast timing and figure out where the dining room is located on our own. Even over the phone when explaining to the staff the numerous problems we were having they were barely proposing solutions and we had to constantly ask for what to do or how to deal with basically anything. It wasn't even busy I believe we were if not the only ones staying or maybe a couple of more guests. It is very unfortunate because the property is nice and with a quick renovation and friendly and prepared staff it could be a great facility.

BF was sumptuous. Location should have been a little easier to 'discover'.
