AUAUThe terrace is clearly the highlight here. A fantastic place to sit and have a wine with spectacular views. A very convenient walk into town, just minutes from the main gate to Taormina.
Updating the glassware, providing a tea towel and some condiments (it’s a self contained apartment after all) would bring this accommodation to the next level. Parking is available but like everywhere, a challenge for tourists to locate and access.
IELocation was perfect. So close to the town, right beside cable car to the beach, and 5 min walk to the bus station. Basic room but really comfortable. Host was excellent at communicating with us
Shower could do with being repaired was a little leaky but water pressure was excellent

GBIEThe location is excellent near the top of the funicular. We thought it may be too noisy but it isn't. The terrace has amazing views.
The town itself is very touristy.
GBGreat location-few minutes from main street,which od handy for quick lunch,gelato or expresso also minutes away from main bus station,great for trips to siracusa,Etna or catania airport!❤️ Teerace was big and had great view,we really enjoyed sunbathing there☺️ Communication with owner was amazing,we were lucky as we asked if we can stay longer on a teerace as we had evening flight and host offered that we stay on our room if we like which was very kind🙂 Our room was very clean,would stay here again😊
Cable car can be noisy but its didn't affect our sleep. We had a great time here🙂

MTLocation was at the centre of Taormina next to the cable car terminal, 3 minutes away from Porta Messina.

GBOur room was very comfortable, central heating and plentiful supply of hot water with an excellent shower. Comfortable bed and the outside terrace and views excellent. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. The only downside was the kitchen facilities which need a bit of an upgrade if you want to make your own breakfast. Also a name plate ‘Villa Athena” on the outside of the property would help guests locate the place. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay. Thank you.
